The heavily favoured Belgians have already secured a spot in the knockout round with wins in their first two games, and will probably rest several key players against a Finnish side that will likely need help from Denmark to advance.

Finland vs. Belgium Betting Odds

Finland v Belgium

  • Belgium -256
  • Draw +340
  • Finland +720

Whether or not Belgium opts to keep some of its marquee talent on the sidelines, it comes in as an overwhelming betting favourite after steamrolling Denmark and Russia by a combined count of 5-1 in its opening two games. Finland is a whopping +820 to pull off the upset here, and could see some action here after knocking off the host Danes 1-0 in their opener before dropping a 1-0 heartbreaker to the Russians in their second match. The draw is set at +380.

The total odds are nearly identical, with the O2.5 priced at -118 and the U2.5 at -112. Finland comes in having seen just two total goals scored over its first two tournament games, while the Belgians have surpassed the 2.5-goal threshold in each of their opening two matches. And while we don’t have a consensus for this one, it’s fair to assume that the Under will see more action given that the Belgians are expected to roll out a watered-down lineup Monday.

Team Finland

The Finns are tied with Russia for second place in the group, but have the superior goal differential – meaning that they’re a good bet to advance if they can match what the Russians do against Denmark on Monday. And with a win probably out of reach here, they’ll almost certainly need the host Danes to defeat the Russians to advance to the Round of 16. It is noteworthy, however, that these teams have drawn three of their last four meetings.

Team Belgium

Two of Belgium’s top players are a virtual lock to miss out on Monday’s finale. Sensational striker Romelu Lukaku is the top candidate to sit this one out ahead for the knockout round; he’ll likely be replaced up front by Michy Batshuayi. And Thorgan Hazard will probably find himself on the sidelines, as well; he’ll miss out on Belgium’s Round of 16 match if he earns a second yellow card, so it’s unlikely manager Roberto Martinez will take that risk here.
