EPL Picks and Predictions Week 3: Best Bets for Liverpool vs. Arsenal, Tottenham, and More

Get ready for match week 3 of the EPL with plenty of epic soccer action taking place this weekend, starting this Saturday at 7:30 AM ET. Prepare yourself for this week’s EPL lineup with some exciting middle-of-the-table battles, along with a first-place-decider between Liverpool and Arsenal, with Tottenham right in the mix!

Take a look at my best bets for the EPL this week, with a full rundown on the top three games and their English Premier League soccer odds below.

EPL Liverpool vs Arsenal best bet: Liverpool three-way money line +110

The Liverpool three-way moneyline was a godsend last week, but nothing less than deserved for the Reds. After a shocking comeback from Newcastle in the 57’ and 88’ to draw the game 2-2, 16-year-old Rio Ngumoha netted the game winner for Liverpool in the 90+10’ to seal another three points. This win let them secure the top spot in the standings alongside Arsenal and Tottenham, all with six points after two games.

As for Arsenal, week one was a major confidence booster for the Gunners after their 1-0 victory against Manchester United. But, they’re rolling after their most recent 5-0 crushing of Leeds United. The match saw two braces from both Jurrien Timber and new transfer Viktor Gyokeres, with another goal added from winger Bukayo Saka. Arsenal have yet to let up a goal, although I think Liverpool is capable of breaking through a shutout.

This may be one of the toughest matchups of the season, but my gut is going with the Liverpool money line once again, due to their sheer will-to-win along with their rampant goalscoring ability.

EPL Tottenham vs Bournemouth best bet: Over 3.5 goals +130

Tottenham may have the best start to the Premier League season so far, all things considered. While their first 3-0 victory against Burnley was nothing to boast about, their recent 2-0 shutout win over Manchester City tells me they came to play this season. Even after being outpossessed 62%-38%, Spurs managed to record 12 shots with five on target as part of their successful counterattacks.

Bournemouth did put up a fight against Liverpool in match day one with two goals in the bag, but their recent 1-0 victory over the Wolves was a close call. With only one goal in the 4’, the team could’ve hit the back of the net multiple times with 14 shots, four on target, and dominance in possession. Antoine Semenyo leads his team with two goals after two games so far, and Bournemouth may be able to snatch a few against Tottenham.

EPL Sunderland vs Brentford best bet: Draw +225

Sunderland comes back to the EPL after a second-round Carabao Cup exit to Huddersfield in penalty kicks. So far, they’ve been able to compete as one of the three newly promoted Premier League teams, winning their first match 3-0 against West Ham, only to drop points in a 2-0 loss to Burnley.

Brentford is in nearly the same scenario as Sunderland, although they came back to the EPL after a 2-0 win over Bournemouth in the Carabao Cup second round. The team bounced back in week two with a narrow 1-0 victory over Aston Villa after a disappointing 3-1 loss to Nottingham Forest in the season debut. All things considered, including both teams’ skill level and bench depth, the match is likely to end in a 1-1 or 2-2 draw, following the trend of many traditional middle-of-the-table battles.
