EPL Brighton vs. Brentford best bet: Over 2.5 (-175)
The third-place Seagulls have made massive strides this season under Fabian Hurzeler’s management. Not only has the side claimed wins over Arsenal, Man City, and Man United (EFL Cup) this season, but they boast the most goals scored (24) and the highest GD (17) in the league so far.
Last Saturday’s matchup against City was a vital three points for Hurzeler’s men as Sweden international Yasin Ayari tapped in an early 11′ finish in the six-yard box to hold out for the win.
With so much momentum and confidence, the Seagulls come in priced at -110 home favourites against the Bees, and it’s no question that their offence, composed of Pascal Gross, Charalambos Kostoulas, Ayari, and Jack Hinshelwood, will do their damage here with three goals each already.
Brentford (+250) is nothing less than a worthy opponent here, with the side showcasing three wins and five draws this season, along with the fourth-highest goal count (16) behind Chelsea.
Keith Andrews’ squad has only suffered a single loss this season to Liverpool, and has outplayed the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham so far, with their most recent bout ending in a 2- 0 victory over Nottingham Forest last weekend. Igor Thiago earned his second goal of the season on top of a Forest own goal to help the Bees seal their third clean sheet domestically.
Kevin Schade, Thiago, Keane Lewis-Potter, and Vitaly Janely have combined for nine of the team’s 16 goals this season.
With Brentford yet to finish a game without scoring, and Brighton averaging just under three goals a game in the EPL, expect the goal count to be high in this match and go with the over 2.5 at -175.
EPL Arsenal vs. Hull best bet: Arsenal -1.5 (-210)
The 2025 Champions are back with another gritty matchup as massive -7050 favourites against Sergej Jakirovic’s hungry side of Hull City. Since the Gunners’ uncharacteristic loss to Brighton, the side has won the last four straight in the EPL, allowing just one goal in the Oct. 10 matchup against Leeds.
Last Sunday, Mikel Arteta’s team sucker-punched Liverpool at Anfield as Kai Havertz tapped in a 16′ backpost finish to take the lead. Arsenal held strong for 75 more minutes as they endured 14 shots from Liverpool and only 43 per cent of the ball, but nevertheless came out with a crucial three points.
The Gunners’ strength comes from their rock-solid defence and keeper, who have only allowed five goals in nine games up to this point. However, Havertz and Bukayo Saka have been integral components to the side’s attack with three goals apiece, along with Declan Rice and his chart-leading five assists.
It certainly won’t be easy for Hull City to break through Arsenal’s backline, as the Tigers enter away grounds as +1400 longshots to win the match.
In truth, Jakirovic’s focus will be on mid-table battles as his squad currently sits in 11th place with five draws, most recently tying Ipswich Town 2-2, their second draw in a row, and third in the last five games. The Tigers have also failed to record a clean sheet since Sept. 5 in a scoreless draw with Aston Villa.
Hull’s Mohamed Belloumi hasn’t scored in the last three fixtures, but still leads his team with three goals.
Considering Arsenal’s unwillingness to give up goals and Hull’s inability to put the finishing touch on games, going with the Gunners -1.5 spread here is a reasonable choice.
EPL best player prop bet: Alexander Isak to score anytime (+110) in Crystal Palace vs. Liverpool
The Reds look to bounce back after an upsetting home loss to Arsenal that had zero goals to show for it.
It’s up to Alexander Isak and his already six goals this season to make his mark and help Liverpool get back on track with at least one goal here against Crystal Palace, a side with the worst goal differential in the league (-12).
