Everton vs. Chelsea best bet: Chelsea ML (+115)

Everton are +220 home underdogs against Chelsea, even lying one place above their visitors this weekend in the standings in fifth. Most impressively, though, the Toffees have not lost a game in all competitions this season.

David Moyes’ men enter this one on an eight-game undefeated streak, most recently capped by their 2-2 draw against Hull City, when Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Thierno Barry turned the match around in the second half after after Joe Gelhardt had given the Tigers a half-time lead, only for Mohamed Belloumi to ultimately rescue a point for the hosts.

Where Everton have the defensive edge on paper, having allowed just five goals in the EPL so far, Chelsea will be an offensive advantage having netted 15 goals in six games, nearly twice as many as their hosts.

Xabi Alonso’s men have suffered two losses this season already, though, and have the joint-worst defensive record in the division having conceded 13 goals, but a positive GD of two highlights how potent their attack has been.

Chelsea head to Hill Dickinson Stadium as +115 favourites after thumping five past Bournemouth in a convincing one-sided result, with both Jordan Henderson and Joao Pedro earning a brace.

This matchup truly is an offensive versus defensive battle, but with Everton only achieving eight goals this season, it’s hard to see how they’ll outlast the wrath of Chelsea’s midfield and frontline, including the likes of Joao Pedro, Morgan Rogers, Cole Palmer, and Jordan Henderson. Overall, expect this one to land in favour of Chelsea, a team with enough scoring capability to earn a Champions League spot next season.

Brentford vs. Liverpool best bet: Liverpool ML (+180)

In another tops-turvy matchup, Brentford are +135 home favourites against the Liverpool Reds for the first time in a long while.

The fourth-place Bees have held on to an undefeated Premier League record with two wins and four draws, including a very notable 3-0 win over Chelsea back on September 18. Most recently, the side drew Aston Villa 2-2 on October 10, where Brentford’s Yewhor Tamolyuk tallied on the scoresheet in the 10′ before Villa’s equalizer two minutes later. Villa’s John McGinn netted the lead in the 77′, before the Bees’ Kristoffer Ajer also netted his team’s equalizer two minutes later.

The Bees boast the third-highest GD in the league currently (six), with five of their 12 goals scored by Kevin Schade (three) and Vitaly Janelt (two).

The tough part for Brentford here will be to endure the compiling wrath of Liverpool, a team which knows victory and championships very well, but hasn’t quite hit that point this season.

The Reds boast a solid 2-3-1 record with seven goals-for and seven goals-allowed to hold ninth place in the league. Losing to City 3-0 on October 11 was a huge blow for the side as they got handed their first loss and shutout this season.

However, Liverpool are doing mighty well in both the EFL and Champions League, where they haven’t lost any games, most recently defeating LASK 6-3 in the UCL, which saw Bradley Barcola’s first goal and hat-trick in a Liverpool shirt.

The Reds no doubt have the front line to cause plenty of damage, and with Bradley Barcola’s confidence rising, Alexander Isak getting healthier, and Florian Wirtz supporting the attack, it’s only a matter of time before Liverpool run away with the scoreline against Brentford here.

Bukayo Saka to score anytime (+210)  in Nottingham Forest vs. Arsenal

Arsenal recently defeated Lille 3-0 in the Champions League last Tuesday, where Bukayo Saka closed out the game with a goal. The Englishman already has three goals in the EPL this season, and he’s bound to kick off his scoring streak against a 15th-place Nottingham Forest side that has allowed eight goals in six games.
