The fifth matchweek of the prestigious English Premier League hits the turf with a hefty lineup of games on the itinerary.

Four teams in the top seven face off, with Brighton taking on Arsenal and Chelsea challenging Brentford. With a lot at stake, United’s Bryan Mbeumo could be the man to make a difference and put the Red Devils back on track with an impactful goal this week against Fulham.

Brighton vs. Arsenal best bet: Both teams to score -142

While there’s a lot to undergo the rest of this season, Brighton have incrementally improved year-by-year as the Seagulls firmly hold fifth place with seven points and a 2-1-1 record after their most recent 5-0 thrashing of Coventry last Sunday. Pascal Groß, Malick Yacouyre, and Jack Hinshelwood continue to showcase a dangerous midfield and front line, as they hold two goals apiece for Brighton’s Premier League-leading 13 goals (GD of +8) so far this season.

Now, Arteta’s Mikel Arsenal will once again get to test their impenetrable defence, which has so far just allowed one goal in for EPL games this season. They are four for four on games this season, sitting right above City in first place due to a marginally higher goal differential of seven. Bukayo Saka impressively added to his tally of three goals this season after burying his PK against Sunderland last weekend, helping the Gunners earn their fifth shoutout win in all competitions this season. Teammates Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard chase their English teammate with two goals each.

With just how offensively talented both sides are this season and with Brighton boasting the highest goal tally (13), it’s almost a given that they will knock one in to Arsenal’s net at least once. Arsenal are still more likely to claim three points given their quality, though, but going with both teams to score here is the best option.

Brentford vs. Chelsea best bet: Over 3.5 +122

The Brentford Bees kick off the 2026/27 campaign solidly in seventh place without a loss yet on their record, as they face their mightiest challenge yet against the Blues. Aside from a single 3-0 spanking of the Spurs on opening day, the Bees have gone on to draw their last three consecutive Premier League matchups, scoring in every one. Kevin Schade and Vitaly Janelt combined for five of the team’s seven goals this season, with Schade most recently netting a brace to steal back a point in Brentford’s match against Bournemouth last Saturday.

Chelsea will need to put the hammer down if they want to be in contention for a top four finish this season, and while their only loss comes from the impregnable Young Gunners, the Blues slipped in a 2-2 draw at home to Hull City last weekend. They rest just one point above their now-opponents, but their strength clearly lies in their offence this season. Joao Pedro (three goals), Morgan Rogers (three goals) and Cole Palmer (two goals) account for eight of the side’s 10 total so far, with Chelsea only second in goal-scoring to Brighton this season.

With both teams averaging over two goals each per game so far, and Chelsea’s lowest-scoring game this season seeing three total goals, expect over 3.5 goals to find the back of the net in this classic six place vs. seven place barn burner.

Bryan Mbeumo anytime goalscorer (+220) in Fulham vs. Manchester United

The Red Devils have scored seven goals so far in the EPL this season, with Mbeumo tucking home two of them. With a must-win scenario now against relegation-zone Fulham, and to avoid further scrutiny from onlookers, Mbeumo will surely contribute to Manchester United’s away success in this one with at least a goal to show for by the end of 90′.
