NHL Trade Deadline Updates: 2018 Deals and Rumors
2018 has more than it’s fair share of rental options, as well as marquee players like Erik Karlsson. Questions about massive asking prices have made some of these trades seem almost impossible, but never underestimate a team that will pull out all the stops in order to make a real Stanley Cup run as the season winds down.
All eyes are on struggling Canadian teams like the Ottawa Senators and the Montreal Canadiens, who are both open to making some massive changes in order to turn their dismal seasons around. Max Pacioretty, Tomas Plekanec, Erik Karlsson and Bobby Ryan are all faces of their franchises, and yet could all be wearing new uniforms by the end of the week.
