Nashville Predators at Washington Capitals

NSH: Juuse Saros (unconfirmed)

Saros’ (3-6-1, 2.83 GAA, .902 SV) stats have been dragged down by a lack of offensive help and two bad outings. He’s allowed two or fewer goals in eight of 10 starts, including Monday’s 3-0 loss to L.A. in which Nashville managed to provide a support of just 16 shots on net.

WSH: Logan Thompson (confirmed)

Thompson (5-0-0, 2.97 GAA, .894 SV) is perfect on the season, but he’s propped up a bit by a strong Capitals defensive structure. He’ll remain in an even rotation with Charlie Lindgren going forward.

Detroit Red Wings at Chicago Blackhawks

DET: Cam Talbot (confirmed)

Talbot (3-1-1, 2.73 GAA, .923 SV), who has split starts evenly with Alex Lyon, turned aside 31 of 32 shots faced in a 2-1 win against Buffalo on Sunday. Both Talbot and Lyon have produced similar numbers, so they should continue to trade starts evenly.

CHI: Petr Mrazerk (likely)

Mrazek (4-6-0, 3.02 GAA, .900 SV) Mrazek has had a heavy workload to begin the season, starting 10 of Chicago’s 12 games. He almost singlehandedly led the Blackhawks to a 4-3 shootout victory on Saturday, making 37 saves through regulation and overtime.

Vegas Golden Knights at Edmonton Oilers

VGK: Adin Hill (unconfirmed)

Hill (5-2-0, 3.15 GAA, .874 SV) has been outplayed by backup Ilya Samsonov. Hill has won three straight games, but he’s allowed at least three goals in six of seven games this season.

EDM: Stuart Skinner (likely)

Skinner (3-4-1, 3.31 GAA, .881 SV) stopped 29 of 31 shots in a 4-2 win over Calgary on Sunday. He has yet to win back-to-back starts this season, but he has two victories in his last three games.
