Los Angeles Kings at Toronto Maple Leafs (+125, 5)

At this point in the season, it seems like it’s only going to be a matter of time before the Toronto Maple Leafs make a significant move. A fast started buoyed mainly by an overachieving power play unit and unsustainable goaltending got the club off to a fast start. Since then, it’s all been downhill. The Leafs are still without Tyler Bozak, Dave Bolland and captain Dion Phaneuf, which doesn’t leave much in the cupboard for this game with the Kings. Their only hope is former-King Jonathan Bernier steals the game, but the same can be said by L.A. supporters about Ben Scrivens facing his former team. Take the Kings if the road chalk doesn’t bother you. Otherwise play under the total.

Pick: Los Angeles Kings

Minnesota Wild at Anaheim Ducks (-130, 5)

The Ducks have yet to lose in regulation at home this season, boasting an 11-0-2 record, and look like a solid bet again tonight. Corey Perry and Ryan Getzlaf are absolutely tearing it up this year with 72 points between the dynamic duo. The Wild are on a nice run with three wins in their last four, but they were very lucky to get past the Sharks at home on Sunday. They were outshot 38-13 and somehow ended up with the two points. Anaheim won’t let them off the hook like that tonight.

Pick: Anaheim Ducks
