Captain Anze Kopitar had his point streak stopped at three games. In that stretch he had one goal and four assists.
The Kings will continue their Western Canadian road trip Thursday night in Calgary.
Edmonton Oilers
The Oilers bounced back from an embarrassing 9-5 loss in the battle of Alberta, to beat the Arizona Coyotes 6-1 Monday night.
Rookie Ryan McLeod scored two goals and added a helper, bringing home the first star of the night, while Leon Draisaitl scored his 48th goal of the season.
Draisaitl’s 48th goal temporarily gave him the league lead, but Toronto’s Austin Matthews has since jumped back ahead with 49 snipes.
Edmonton’s seven-game win streak on home ice has bumped their record to 21-12 at home this season. They wrap up their current homestand Friday against St. Louis.
