2025 NHL Same-Game Parlay: Calgary Flames vs. Winnipeg Jets

While the majority of the sports world will have their eyes Game 1 of the World Series (go Blue Jays!) on Friday night, the NHL is still in action and there’s still parlays to make.

Tonight I’m focusing on a same-game parlay for the Flames vs. Jets. Here’s what I have for a three-leg parlay priced at +475:

  • Jets moneyline (-140)
  • Total Under 5.5 (+100)
  • Mark Scheifele 3+ shots (-110)

Jets moneyline

These teams couldn’t be on more different paths. Winnipeg is near the top of the Central Division with a 5-2 start to the year, while it’s been misery in Calgary with the Flames sitting at 1-6-1.

The Flames just don’t have the firepower to stay in this game. Calgary has managed to score only one goal in each of their last four games and their leading scorer is Nazem Kadri, who has just four points, all assists.

On the flip side, Mark Scheifele leads the Jets with 10 points in seven games, with Kyle Connor just behind him at nine points. Winnipeg also has the best save percentage in the league at .934.

Total Under 5.5

These teams already met once this year and they continued a trend of low scoring head-to-head results, with the Jets winning 2-1.

I already mentioned Winnipeg’s elite save percentage, however, I’m also looking at the Flames’ inability to generate offence. Calgary is averaging a league-worst 1.50 goals per game and their power play is ranked 28th in the league with a 12.5 per cent success rate.

In addition, this is a back-to-back spot for the Jets after a 3-0 shootout loss against Seattle on Thursday. B2B’s just breed low scoring games.

Mark Scheifele 3+ shots

Scheifele is on an absolute heater to start the year as he tries to make his case for a spot on Canada’s Olympic team.

He’s finished with three or more shots in five of seven games this season and he should generate a lot of opportunities against a Flames squad that is allowing an average of almost 30 shots per game.
