2025 NHL Parlay Picks for Saturday, Oct. 18: Can the Maple Leafs win big against the Kraken?

It’s the second Saturday night of the NHL season and six of seven Canadian teams are in action.

I’ve gone through the numbers and come up with a few betting options worth considering.

Here’s what I have for a three-leg parlay priced at +619:

  • Maple Leafs -1.5 puckline vs. Kraken (+110)
  • Canadiens moneyline win vs. Rangers (-115)
  • Jets vs. Predators total Under 6.0 goals (-120)

Maple Leafs -1.5 puckline vs. Kraken

Three of Seattle’s first four games of the season have gone to overtime or a shootout, but the play on Saturday night in Toronto is to take the Maple Leafs to win by two or more goals.

Toronto has dominated this series with five straight head-to-heads victories, four of which were decided by two or more goals. In fact, in eight all-time meetings between the clubs, the Kraken have just one victory.

Canadiens moneyline win vs. Rangers

These teams are trending in totally different directions. Montreal sits at the top of the Atlantic Division standings with four straight wins, while the Rangers have been a mess with three straight losses.

I’m going with the hotter team, but I’ll hedge my bet a bit and take the moneyline. New York has won four of the last five meetings, so I need to see Montreal really dominate before I trust them on the puckline.

Jets vs. Predators total Under 6.0

I’m targeting a lower scoring game between the Jets and Predators. Nashville has played the Under in four of five games this season and the two teams finished below the number in three of four head-to-heads last season.

Bank on a goaltending battle between reigning Hart and Vezina winner Connor Hellebuyck and Juuse Saros.
