Titans vs. Raiders Point Spread: NFL Week 6 Odds, Prediction

Fresh off making high draft picks a season ago, both the Tennessee Titans and Las Vegas Raiders appear destined for the same fate after this season and Sunday’s meeting could play a big role in determining just how high each team picks. Both clubs sit at 1-4 teams entering this weekend, making this Week 6 bout for all intents and purposes an elimination game. Now that’s not to say either the Titans or Raiders are likely to make the playoffs based on how their first five weeks went, but it is the “now or never” time, or “going all-in” as they say in Vegas.

Cam Ward and the Titans are coming off their first win of the season but it was a fluky a victory as they come, a 22-21 win at Arizona. Meanwhile the Raiders are coming off a season-worst performance, getting blown out 40-6 at Indianapolis.

Kickoff at Allegiant Stadium gets going at 4:05 p.m. EDT with the Raiders -4.5 on the point spread at home and a -225 moneyline favourite, while the total is set at 41.5 on the NFL odds.

NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis

The Raiders simply don’t have a home field advantage in Las Vegas — whether it’s the team’s lack of talent or the absence of Oakland’s Raider Nation that’s becoming more and more apparent with each home game. Las Vegas is 1-7 outright in their last eight home outings and are 0-2 both outright and ATS this season.

Tennessee’s playing their third consecutive road game this week but did fly back from Arizona before headed back out to Nevada. Tennessee is 2-1 ATS on the road this season but much success in the win-loss column hasn’t come with it; even with last week’s victory the Titans are 4-16 outright in their last 20 road showings. The over has now hit in eight of the Titans last 12 games too, but due to this Tennessee defence ranking 26th with 28.2 points against per game.

Tennessee Titans

Lost in all the craziness of the fourth quarter in last week’s win is Cam Ward played some good football down the stretch for Tennessee. The 2025 first overall pick finished the final quarter throwing 18 passes, 13 of which were completed for 193 yards. Ward also hit Calvin Ridley for huge gains or 47 and 38 yards on the final two drives, which could be huge for their chemistry moving forward as Ward and Ridley lacked a strong connection through four weeks.

Moving forward, the Titans could get some much-needed help on offence as right tackle J.C. Latham is practicing after missing four straight games. Running back Tyjae Spears also made his season debut last week and was eased in with four carries in the win. In other injury news, veteran defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons missed Wednesday’s practice with an ankle injury as did kicker Joey Slye with a calf issue. Slye kicked a game-winning 29-yard field goal last week.

Las Vegas Raiders

A 40-6 defeat isn’t going to include anything nice, and that exactly the case for this Raiders defence last week in Indianapolis. On top of allowing a 40-spot, Las Vegas allowed the Colts to eight for 10 on third down and a perfect six for six in the red zone last week. Offensively, Geno Smith’s nine interceptions lead the NFL as this off-season acquisition is by no means paying off. Rookie running back Ashton Jeanty is starting to stack productive games though, going for 109 yards on 18 touches last week. Jeanty’s 349 rushing yards ranks eighth in the NFL.

The Raiders were without sophomore tight end Brock Bowers last week and his status for Week 6 doesn’t sound any better. Bowers missed Wednesday’s practice with a knee injury, and the same goes for punter AJ Cole who has an injured ankle after being on the wrong of a blocked punt last week. It’s all three phases that are hurting in Las Vegas, figuratively and literally.
