Super Bowl 60 Novelty Props, Predictions: National anthem, halftime show, Gatorade shower
No event in sports inspires more betting than the Super Bowl. One, it’s the biggest game in America’s biggest league, and two, an incredible number of markets are available to all bettors. A plethora of interest and no shortage of options is a combination that results in extremely high numbers when it comes to both bets and handle.
Yes, there will be plenty of action on the most common markets for Sunday’s showdown between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots, such as the moneyline, point spread, and game totals. However, we can’t overlook the novelty props. You can bet on things like the coin toss, the length of the national anthem, the number of songs played during the halftime show, and the colour of Gatorade with which the winning head coach gets dumped.
Let’s take a look at three of the best novelty bets to make.

Super Bowl National anthem odds and best bet: Under 119.5 seconds (-110)
Heading into Super Bowl 60, the Over has cashed in four of the past five Super Bowls. However, the Over only holds a slight 7-6 lead in the past 13 installments. On Super Bowl Sunday in 2025, the national anthem was more suspenseful than the actual game. Before Philadelphia’s blowout of Kansas City, Jon Batiste finished the national anthem in exactly two minutes, making the Under a winner on a line of 2:00.5 (120.5 seconds).
Don’t be surprised if the Under cashes again this time around. Charlie Puth has the honours in 2026, and there is a video of him on YouTube playing an instrumental version of the anthem on a piano in a little over a minute. Obviously, the circumstances will be different singing in front of a packed house, but that effort still bodes well for a swift performance. At 34 years old, Puth is in the prime of his singing career and has the lung capacity to surge through this song in a brisk, mostly breathless fashion. He also seems like a no-nonsense kind of guy, so there is no reason to think there will be any unnecessary variations to the music that would extend the performance beyond what it requires.
Super Bowl halftime props and best bet: NUEVAYoL first song played by Bad Bunny (+750)
Bad Bunny’s most popular track on Spotify is BAILE INoLVIDABLE, which has +210 odds to kick off the festivities. However, that has not always been the way to go for halftime performers. Among recent halftime shows, both Rihanna (2023) and Kendrick Lamar (2025) opened with songs that were outside of their top 10 on Spotify.
NUEVAYoL is third on Bad Bunny’s chart, so it is at least somewhat close to being the cream of the crop. It should be noted that the song is all about New York, which, to go along with plenty of other claims to fame, is the home of the NFL headquarters. It is also lively enough to get the crowd fully invested from the jump, so NUEVAYoL would make sense for several reasons – and it has great value at relatively long odds.
Gatorade Super Bowl odds and best bet: Blue (+260)
In the last 10 Super Bowls, the Gatorade splits are relatively even. Multiple “winners” are blue (three times), orange (twice), purple (twice), and yellow/green (twice). Yellow/green went off as a sizeable -165 favourite last year and cashed when Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni received his dousing.
There is no such heavy favourite this time around, so blue appears to have decent value. In the Patriots’ six Super Bowl victories, they have either had blue, clear, or none. Blue has cashed in on two of their last three triumphs. It is close enough to the Seahawks’ primary colour of “college navy,” too, so let’s roll with blue.
