Seahawks vs. Rams Point Spread: NFL Week 5 Odds, Prediction
Are the Seattle Seahawks still the kings of the NFC West or are the up-and-coming Los Angeles Rams ready to take the crown from them this season? The answer should be revealed on Sunday when the Seahawks visit the Rams.
Seattle Seahawks vs. Los Angeles Rams
Point Spread: Rams -2.5
Date: Oct. 8, 4:05 PM ET
Location: Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum – Los Angeles, California
Point Spread and Betting Analysis
The Rams opened as 2.5-point favourites (-110) on the Sports Interaction odds board. Los Angeles can put up points on the scoreboard in a hurry. The Rams lead the league in scoring with 142 points scored through four games and the over is a perfect 4-0 for them.
The under has been the dominant trend when these two divisional foes meet. Games have played below the over/under number in eight of the last 10 meetings between the Seahawks and Rams. The Rams improved to 3-1 straight up and 2-2 against the spread after Sunday’s big win over the Cowboys. The Seahawks, meanwhile, picked up their first ATS win of the campaign after Sunday night’s sensational second half against the Indianapolis Colts.
The Seahawks are birds that don’t travel well. Seattle is 0-6 ATS in its last six away tilts. Over 90 percent of the Sports Interaction bettors are expecting this game to be high scoring, and go over the 46-point total.

Los Angeles Rams
The Rams turned many heads when they appointed former Washington Redskins offensive coordinator Sean McVay as their new head coach in the offseason. McVay was born in 1986 which means, at 31, he’s the youngest person to ever be the head coach of an NFL team.
Bettors are seeing right away why the whiz kid was brought it. Los Angeles had the worst offense in the league last season and, after four games this season, it now has the best. That’s some turnaround.
Seattle Seahawks
Things were looking pretty dicey for Seattle at halftime on Sunday night when the team entered its home locker room down 15-10 to the lowly Indianapolis Colts. The Seahawks went on to outscore the Jacoby Brissett-led Colts 36-3 in the second half and ran away with the game.
The win didn’t come without cost. Seattle starting left tackle Ress Odhiambo spent Sunday night in the hospital after taking a hit to the chest and starting tailback Chris Carson is out indefinitely with a nasty lower leg injury.
