Saints QB Derek Carr injures Shoulder, Could Miss Games

Green Bay Packers linebacker Rashan Gary got to Carr in the third quarter of Sunday’s contest in Wisconsin. The New Orleans gunslinger remained on the lawn for a few minutes before finally getting up, but he didn’t remain on the sideline for long.

Jameis Winston filled in for Carr, but that didn’t help in the slightest, as the Saints went three-and-out multiple times en route to coughing up their 17-0 advantage in the final period.

At the time of writing, there is no official word as to the extent of Carr’s injury or how much time he’ll miss, if any. That said, information shared by ESPN on the player’s profile page alludes to an AC sprain.

The loss dropped the New Orleans Saints to 2-1. They host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 4.
