Ravens vs. Bengals Game Recap
First Quarter
The Bengals got on the board first when Chase Brown punched in a 1-yard touchdown run at 9:23, giving Cincinnati an early 7-0 lead. Baltimore’s offense couldn’t respond immediately, and the Bengals took control early.
Second Quarter
The Bengals came back strong. The Ravens leveled the score early in the second when Lamar Jackson connected with Nelson Agholor on a 6-yard touchdown pass at 13:04, tying the game at 7-7. As the clock wound down in the half, Joe Burrow found tight end Tanner Hudson for a 3-yard touchdown with just 30 seconds left, putting the Bengals back on top at 14-7 going into halftime.
Third Quarter
The Bengals extended their lead in the opening minutes of the third quarter with a 67-yard bomb from Burrow to Ja’Marr Chase, making it 21-7. The Ravens responded later in the quarter with a 1-yard rushing touchdown from Derrick Henry, cutting Cincinnati’s lead to 21-14 and keeping Baltimore in the game as they headed into the final quarter.
Fourth Quarter
The Ravens kicked off the fourth with a bang as Jackson found Tylan Wallace for an electrifying 84-yard touchdown pass. Justin Tucker missed the extra point, bringing Baltimore to within one at 21-20. With 5:50 left, Mark Andrews caught an 18-yard touchdown pass from Jackson, followed by a successful two-point conversion, putting the Ravens ahead 28-21. But the Bengals fired right back. Burrow hit Chase again, this time for a 70-yard touchdown just 13 seconds later, tying it up at 28-28. The Ravens weren’t finished, though. Jackson connected with Rashod Bateman for a 5-yard touchdown with under two minutes left, bringing Baltimore to a 35-28 lead. Cincinnati mounted a final push as Burrow found Chase in the end zone for a 5-yard touchdown with just 38 seconds left. However, the two-point conversion failed, sealing a dramatic 35-34 win for the Ravens.
Betting Game Recap
The Ravens were 6-point favorites, but anyone who bet on Cincinnati to cover the spread was happy with the result. The 35-34 final easily cleared the 52.5-point over/under, so the over hit comfortably. For those who backed the Bengals plus the points and took the over, it was a night to celebrate in a thrilling, back-and-forth game.
The Ravens stay hot, but the Bengals showed some real fight – whether or not its enough fight to get them back in the postseason conversation – hard to say.
