Rams vs. Seahawks NFL Playoffs NFC Championship Game Parlay Picks

NFC West rivals, the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks, will go head-to-head in the NFC Championship on Sunday night in Seattle. Although Los Angeles had to settle for a wild-card spot out of what was the best division in football, it would be fair to argue that these are the two best teams in the conference – if not even in the entire NFL.

The result is an absolute blockbuster matchup with a spot in the Super Bowl on the line.

Los Angeles Rams vs. Seattle Seahawks NFL Playoffs Parlay

  • Seahawks -2.5 (-120)
  • Kenneth Walker III to record 100+ rushing yards (+120)
  • Puka Nacua anytime touchdown scorer (+100)

Los Angeles Rams vs. Seattle Seahawks parlay odds: +550

Seahawks -2.5

A line of only -2.5 points in the Seahawks’ favour when they are playing at home suggests that oddsmakers are pricing the Rams as the better team in this matchup. Realistically, though, it’s hard to make that argument. Seattle won the high-powered NFC West, just beat Los Angeles in Week 16, and most recently destroyed San Francisco 41-6 in the Divisional Round. Moreover, this is an extremely favourable spot for head coach Mike Macdonald’s squad.

The Seahawks have played only one game since January 3, and they are playing on extra rest after beating the 49ers on Saturday. The Rams have already battled through two extremely difficult playoff games and will take the field with less rest after outlasting the Bears in overtime on Sunday. As if that isn’t enough, the Rams had to travel while the Seahawks stayed at home. Look for Seattle to win this one by at least a field goal.

Kenneth Walker III to record 100+ rushing yards

One of the best backfields in football has been cut in half, as RB Zach Charbonnet suffered a torn ACL in Seattle’s romp over San Francisco last weekend. That means the ball-carrying duties are left entirely to Walker. After Charbonnet went down early, Walker tied his season high of 19 carries and parlayed them into 116 yards and three touchdowns.

The Michigan State product has gained at least 97 yards in three of the last four contests. He now faces a Rams defence that has struggled in recent weeks and really wasn’t anything special against the run at any point during the regular season. LA allowed 110.8 rushing yards per game on 4.3 yards per carry. Walker was outstanding in both regular season matchups with Los Angeles, carrying a combined 27 times for 167 yards and two touchdowns. He ran all over the Rams for 100 yards on only 11 attempts in Week 16.

Puka Nacua anytime touchdown scorer

Nacua failed to score against Chicago in the Divisional Round, but that was an aberration as opposed to the rule. The former BYU standout had previously recorded at least one touchdown in four consecutive contests, including two against Seattle in Week 16. The Seahawks probably still have nightmares about Nacua, even though they managed to win that game. He torched them for 12 receptions and 225 yards.

Nacua finished the regular season with 10 TDs before catching 10 of 18 targets for 111 yards and one touchdown during a 34-31 wild-card win at Carolina. He’s also rushed for a score in that victory. The 24-year-old always seems to step up in playoff situations, and this Sunday should be no different.
