Rams vs. Bears Betting: NFL Playoffs Divisional Round Player Prop Predictions

After winning their first playoff game in 15 years, the Chicago Bears close the Divisional Round this weekend when they host the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday at 6:30 pm ET.

Caleb Williams threw for 361 yards and two touchdowns as Chicago posted its seventh fourth-quarter comeback victory, outscoring the Green Bay Packers 25-3 in the final 15 minutes to win 31-27.

The Rams had a comeback triumph of their own earlier in the same day, twice retaking leads in the fourth quarter and outlasting the upstart Carolina Panthers 34-31. Despite spraining the finger on his throwing hand, MVP co-favourite Matthew Stafford threw for 304 yards and three touchdowns.

Rams vs. Bears NFL Player Prop Odds and Betting Trends

Two of the league’s most lethal offences matching up against defences ranking in the NFL’s bottom half portend an active scoreboard. Los Angeles has the top-ranked passing and scoring offence in the league, but it might be its 7th-ranked running game that does the most damage against the Bears’ atrocious, 27th-ranked run D.

The Rams’ dynamic receiving duo of Puka Nacua and Davante Adams, who have combined for 27 total touchdowns this season, are both minus options as anytime TD scorers on Sunday.

Conversely, the Bears’ run game, ranked third in the league, has stalled recently. Neither D’Andre Swift nor Kyle Monangai have topped 58 yards on the ground over the past four games, which is why Swift is currently +175 to rush for 75+ yards.

Best Rams vs. Bears player prop bet: Colston Loveland 75+ receiving yards (+180)

It took several weeks for Colston Loveland, the Bears’ 2025 No. 1 draft pick, to prove them right for selecting him so high. The rookie tight end had just 11 catches through the first six weeks of the season, but he has become Williams’ favourite target.

Loveland led Chicago with 58 receptions for 713 yards, and his six touchdown receptions tied DJ Moore and Rome Odunze for the team lead. Oddly enough, he’s just getting started.

After tying a career-high with six receptions on 10 targets for 94 yards and a touchdown in a 42-38 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the penultimate week of the regular season, Loveland had 10 catches on 13 targets for 91 yards and a score against Detroit the following week.

Last week, he had eight catches on 15 targets for a career-high 137 yards. Williams is counting on Loveland more and more each week, and Loveland is producing as a result.

Rams vs. Bears player prop pick: Matthew Stafford over 2.5 touchdown passes (+155)

Don’t worry about the sprained finger. Stafford is one of the toughest signal-callers in the league. Remember when this was supposed to be his swan song? His final season?

Good luck telling coach Sean McVay that. All Stafford did was lead the league with 4,707 yards and 46 touchdowns passing. He has thrown more than 2.5 touchdown passes in 8 of his last 12 games.

That includes four touchdowns in a regular-season finale triumph over Arizona, and a gutsy 304-yard, three-touchdown performance last week at Carolina in the team’s comeback victory.

Look for the Rams to set everything up with a heavy dose of Kyren Williams and Blake Corum on the ground against the Bears’ beleaguered run defence, but expect Stafford to close up shop through the air to Nacua and Adams.

Rams vs. Bears player prop prediction: Caleb Williams over 1.5 touchdown passes (+110)

Williams had a slow start in his postseason debut last week for the Bears, but the 2024 overall No. 1 draft pick finished with a flurry, throwing for 361 yards and two touchdowns. It was the sixth consecutive game in which Williams tossed exactly two TDs.

He is the biggest reason why the Bears rank sixth in the league in offence. Their run game is third in the NFL, but Williams complements it so well by spreading the ball around to Loveland, Moore, Odunze and rookie Luther Burden III, amongst others.

Seven different players have two or more touchdown receptions, and the Rams’ defence is not deep enough to shut down all of Williams’ options.

As Chicago looks to keep pace with Los Angeles’ high-powered attack, look for Williams to once again throw for more than 1.5 touchdown passes.
