Packers vs. Giants Point Spread: NFL Week 11 Odds, Prediction

Two weeks ago, people were talking about the Green Bay Packers earning the top seed in the NFC playoffs. Now, questions abound about whether the team will even make the postseason.

The Packers dropped a 10-7 decision at home Monday night to the Philadelphia Eagles in a yawner that was scoreless at the half. Green Bay’s list of walking wounded increased with the loss of center Elgton Jenkins and wide receiver Romeo Doubs.

The Giants found another interesting way to lose, dropping a 24-20 decision at the Chicago Bears after leading by 10 with under four minutes to play. It was the fourth time this season New York had lost after leading by 10 points or more.

The defeat was the final nail in the coffin for coach Brian Daboll, who was fired on Monday.

NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis

On the NFL odds board, the Packers are 1-3 against the spread on the road and 1-6 ATS in their last seven games overall.

New York, which has lost 17 of 20 dating back to last season, is 2-2 straight up and against the spread at home this year. The Giants have played to the over four times in five games.

Quarterback Jameis Winston, inserted into the lineup in place of the injured Jaxson Dart, is known for throwing a lot of passes, a lot of touchdowns, and a lot of interceptions. He is listed at -110 to throw more than 34.5 passes, +140 to throw for more than 1.5 touchdown passes, and -210 to throw more than 0.5 interceptions on Sunday.

Green Bay Packers

Jordan Love has nobody to throw to. Tight end Tucker Kraft, who leads the team with 489 yards and six touchdowns receiving, is out for the year with a torn ACL. Matthew Golden missed last week’s game with a shoulder injury, and Doubs left the Eagles’ contest with a chest injury. Jayden Reed is on IR.

Another heavy dose of Josh Jacobs, who had 107 yards from scrimmage and one touchdown rushing against Philadelphia, will most likely be the call again on Sunday.

New York Giants

Daboll is out; interim coach Mike Kafka is in. Dart, who threw for 242 yards and rushed for two touchdowns against the Bears, is out with a concussion. Winston, who started seven games for the Cleveland Browns last season, is now in over the ineffective and uninspiring Russell Wilson.

The 11-year veteran and 2015 No. 1 overall pick threw for 2,121 yards, 13 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions last year. He should be exciting to watch at least.

With Dart sidelined, and Malik Nabers and Cam Skattebo out for the season, the offensive core for the Giants’ future is now on pause.

NFL Prediction: Who Will Win Packers vs. Giants?

This is the kind of game the Packers should win easily, but they just haven’t shown that type of upside recently. Most everything, outside of an easy Week 1 win over the Detroit Lions, has been a struggle. With Winston throwing the ball all over the place, the Giants could find a way to stay in this contest. Look for Green Bay to win late, 24-21.
