NFL Week 4 Betting Odds and Predictions: Best Picks Against the Spread
Enjoy Week 4 around the NFL because it’s the last week without teams on a bye for a while. The primetime slate leaves a lot to be desired, but the first London of the year game is on tap. Here’s a look at all matchups with ATS picks on the Week 4 NFL odds. Games Sunday unless noted.
Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns, Thursday
This might be the lowest-scoring TNF game of the season with two bad offensive teams led by quarterbacks who probably aren’t in the league next year in Aaron Rodgers (will retire) and Deshaun Watson. Although, both looked quite good Sunday in upset wins – Rodgers actually outplayed Joe Burrow. Watson has won back-to-back game with four total TDs and zero picks. The AFC North rivals split last year, each winning a low-scoring game at home.

Indianapolis Colts “at” Washington Commanders
It’s a 9:30 a.m. ET kick from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. Life for the Commanders without injured star QB Jayden Daniels began on Sunday in a pretty darn shocking 33-31 home upset of defending Super Bowl champion Seattle. Marcus Mariota was very solid in throwing for three scores, and he’ll start again Sunday with Daniels not ready yet. The Colts saved their season Sunday with a last-second 19-17 home win over Houston and snapped a nine-game losing streak. Kicker Spencer Shrader was the star in going 4-for-4 on field goals and 2-for-2 on those at least 50.

New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills
The winner gets an early tiebreaker in the AFC East, which will be won by one of these two. They split last year, each winning close on the road. The Patriots are defending division and AFC champions but have looked brutal offensively on the season with QB Drake Maye leading the league with seven total turnovers. He’s on pace for 40, which would be one shy of the NFL single-season record. Bills QB Josh Allen had his third straight two-TD rushing game in Sunday’s comeback win over the Chargers. Buffalo won almost impossibly despite five turnovers.

New York Jets at Chicago Bears
Short week for Chicago as it hosted Philadelphia on Monday night without starting QB Caleb Williams, and he will not be back from his hamstring injury for this one. Third-stringer Case Keenum started the stunning 27-7 win over Philadelphia and the presumption was that it would be No. 2 Tyson Bagent for this one. He spent most of last week in concussion protocol and missed a lot of practice. He was cleared for Monday but the Bears opted for Keenum. Not clear now who starts this one as good as Keenum played. The Jets have looked a lot better this year than they did in 2025 when it looked like coach Aaron Glenn was in over his head. New York pushed a very good Detroit team to the limit Sunday. Top running back Breece Hall left in the fourth quarter injured.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Cincinnati Bengals
Since about the middle of last season, the Jaguars have looked like the NFL’s best team when playing at home in the regular season and they obliterated the defending AFC champion Patriots there on Sunday. QB Trevor Lawrence has it going and might be a top MVP candidate sooner or later. Sunday was his 13th career three-TD passing game to set the team record. Cincinnati was trying for its first 3-0 start in 2015, but Joe Burrow was sacked in the final minute and lost a fumble that cost a shot at a potential tying field-goal attempt in Pittsburgh as the Bengals lost 30-27.

Arizona Cardinals at New York Giants
Is the Giants’ season over after they saw rising star QB Jaxson Dart go down injured early in Week 2 on Monday night and lost for the year? Life with veteran Jameis Winston under centre was not good in relief of Dart in Week 2 and Winston wasn’t much better on Sunday, but Big Blue managed to hold off Tennessee, 12-7 thanks to a late pick deep inside the New York 10. On Monday, the team traded for Vikings 2024 first-round No. 10 overall pick QB JJ McCarthy. The Cardinals were expected to be bad and they are. Rookie No. 3 overall pick running back Jeremiah Love had his best game as a pro in Sunday’s loss to the Niners with 109 yards from scrimmage and a TD.

Los Angeles Rams at Philadelphia Eagles
A possible NFC Championship Game preview. Short week for the Eagles after they completely laid an egg in Chicago on Monday night in losing 27-7. Jalen Hurts threw for only 153 yards and a pick. Philly gave it away three times and frankly looked unprepared. The Rams gave one away Sunday in Denver, 30-26. Reigning NFL MVP Matthew Stafford had a crushing pick-six, his 33rd career to Brett Favre for most in NFL history. Los Angeles has now started 1-2 in three of the past four seasons. The Rams won 33-26 in Philly last regular season.

Green Bay Packers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Battle of the Bays, and neither is in good shape. The Bucs are winless and have lost starting QB Baker Mayfield, who got a big extension on the eve of the season, for three weeks with a dislocated thumb. Rookie quarterback Jalon Daniels surprisingly won the backup job in camp over veteran Jake Browning and replaced Mayfield in Sunday’s loss to the Vikings. Apparently, the undrafted free agent out of Kansas will start here as well. Green Bay is on extra rest but was dominated in its home opener on Thursday in Week 3, 35-14. The Packers managed 17 rush yards, their fewest in a game since 1999. They so badly miss top tailback Josh Jacobs, still dealing with off-field issues.

Tennessee Titans at Baltimore Ravens
Looks like an incredible mismatch with the Titans yet again winless and the Ravens as top Super Bowl contenders. But Baltimore might be in a massive trap spot after a walk-off 34-31 win over Dallas on Sunday in Rio de Janeiro, which is about a nine-hour flight from Maryland. The Titans looked like they would win Sunday at the Giants, but Cam Ward threw a gutting interception on first-and-goal at the New York 7 in the final seconds and his team down 12-7. That ended it.

Dallas Cowboys at Houston Texans
Two fairly desperate teams battling for Texas bragging rights. The Cowboys lost a really entertaining 34-31 game to Baltimore in Brazil on Sunday, giving up a terrible long pass with just one second left to set up the winning field goal. Simply no excuse to allow that. Dallas had just tied the game at 31-all seven seconds earlier on a field goal. Houston has been to the playoffs each of the past three seasons but is shockingly winless after a late loss in Indianapolis. The Texans did make the playoffs last year after starting 0-3, but no club has ever done that in back-to-back seasons.

Miami Dolphins at Minnesota Vikings
The Dolphins already had the worst overall roster in the NFL, and then they lost easily their best offensive player in Pro Bowl running back De’Vone Achane to a season-ending injury in Sunday’s 24-10 home loss to Kansas City. Yeah, 0-17 is possible. The Vikings won in Tampa on Sunday and are 3-0 despite ranking last in the NFL in total offence (238.3 total YPG). Brian Flores’ defence has been carrying things. Star WR Justin Jefferson is in some question Sunday.

Kansas City Chiefs at Las Vegas Raiders
First place in the AFC West is on the line. That Kansas City is 3-0 isn’t a surprise, and the Chiefs pretty easily took care of business on Sunday in Miami if not playing great. Patrick Mahomes took a massive, massive hit but stayed in the game. We may have to monitor that this week. The Raiders are shockingly 3-0 under first-year coach Klint Kubiak. Free-agent addition QB Kirk Cousins has been great. Las Vegas is only the fourth team since 1967 to start 3-0 after drafting first overall in that year’s draft.

Denver Broncos at San Francisco 49ers
Could be a Super Bowl preview. The Broncos stole a home win from the Rams on Sunday, 30-26. Denver has now rallied from down double digits at the half to win back-to-back games for the first time in team history. Sunday was QB Bo Nix’s 20th career comeback win to pass Russell Wilson for the most by a QB in his first three NFL seasons since the merger. The Niners had little trouble Sunday at home vs. Arizona, but they already were banged up and saw few more guys leave. QB Brock Purdy wasn’t one. He had four TD passes against the Cardinals.

Los Angeles Chargers at Seattle Seahawks
The Chargers are right there with the Texans as the NFL’s most disappointing team at 0-3. Jim Harbaugh’s offence looks broken. Justin Herbert & Co. jumped out to an early 10-0 lead in Buffalo on Sunday but only managed six more points in the 24-16 loss. This despite L.A. forcing five Bills turnovers. Seattle looked like the defending Super Bowl champion the first two weeks but was surprised at Washington on Sunday as that stellar defence allowed a stunning 33 points to a Commanders team using its backup QB.

Detroit Lions at Carolina Panthers
Sunday night game – the Panthers haven’t played in primetime much in recent years because they have been lousy. That’s no longer the case. Carolina had scored at least 34 points in its first two games but managed only 18 on Sunday in a loss in Cleveland. The Lions held off the visiting Jets, 31-24, and have scored at least 30 points in the first three games of a season for the first time in team history.

Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints, Monday
Not the sexiest Monday night matchup of the year from the NFC South, which might again only take seven wins to capture. The Falcons and Saints are part of a three-way tie for first with New Orleans with each at 1-2. Atlanta is on extra rest after a very impressive 35-14 win in Green Bay on Thursday in Week 3 when QB Michael Penix Jr. made his season debut off injury. New Orleans lost a home shootout to Las Vegas on Sunday despite four TD passes from Tyler Shough. He has joined the legendary Drew Brees as the only QBs in franchise history with at least eight TD passes through a season’s first three games. Atlanta swept last year, both fairly low scoring.
