Welcome to the NFL Week 3 Weather Report. It’s the briefest report so far this season but a few matches could be affected by inclement weather.

Nice summer weather is persisting deep into September. We should enjoy it while we can because true autumnal temperatures and winds will be here in the blink of an eye. NFL teams will also enjoy fair weather this week, at least for the most part. It helps that eight contests will be played in domes or buildings with retractable roofs.

In case you’re reading this at the last minute before Thursday Night Football, there is only the slightest chance of droplets for the New York region as the Jets host the New England Patriots. Nothing major.

NFL Week 3 Weather Report

Miami Dolphins vs. Seattle Seahawks (rain)

Sunday in the Pacific Northwest shouldn’t be too bad, although the rain probability creeps over 30 per cent during the afternoon as the Dolphins and Seahawks do battle. Winds should remain calm, though, at 9.6 km/hour.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Buffalo Bills (rain)

Things get intriguing on Monday night, starting with Buffalo. The precipitation probability remains just under 50 per cent all evening while the Jaguars and Bills engage in one of two Monday matches in Week 3. Winds shouldn’t be too bad. Reports indicate that, at worst, some gusts will go up to 50 km/hour.

Washington Commanders vs. Cincinnati Bengals (rain)

The situation in Cincinnati is similar to that in Buffalo, albeit with a lower chance of rain. The percentage hovers around 32 per cent all evening in the Queen City when the Commanders take on the Bengals. Wind should not be a factor.
