New York Jets at Cleveland Browns: Flacco leading the way

All season, Bills safety Damar Hamlin has been a heavy favourite to win Comeback Player of the Year, but Browns quarterback Joe Flacco is making a strong case to win the award himself. Unsigned until November 20, Flacco has started four games, winning three straight, to keep Cleveland within striking distance of the playoffs. Flacco is averaging just over 326 passing yards per game with 11 touchdown passes and seven interceptions. This week is also a revenge game for Flacco after two separate stints with the Jets. Expect Flacco to keep rolling in Week 17.

NFL Week 17 Prediction: Joe Flacco Over 230.5 passing yards (-115)

Detroit Lions at Dallas Cowboys: Prescott putting up points

The Cowboys are in a tight battle with the Eagles to win the NFC East, so this is a huge game for Dallas. We’re banking on Dak Prescott to have another monster performance because that’s all he and the Cowboys have done at home this season. Dallas has a perfect 7-0 home record and they are outscoring opponents by an average of 24.5 points in those games. Prescott has been dominant in Arlington, averaging over 300 passing yards per home game while throwing 20 TDs and just two interceptions. He’s thrown multiple touchdown passes in five straight home games and six of seven on the year. Prescott will put up points in Week 17.

NFL Week 17 Prediction: Dak Prescott Over 1.5 passing TDs (-115)

Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings: Jaren to Jefferson

Minnesota was dealt a tough blow last week after learning tight end T.J. Hockenson tore both the ACL and MCL in his right knee, an injury that could linger into next season. With Jordan Addison dealing with an ankle injury, Justin Jefferson is left as the Vikings’ most reliable receiving target this week. Jefferson is averaging a little over 100 receiving yards per game this season and he’s coming off a 141-yard performance last week. Rookie Jaren Hall will start at quarterback, so Jefferson should see a lot of targets as the best receiving option available.

NFL Week 17 Prediction: Justin Jefferson Over 78.5 receiving yards (-115)
