NFL: Super Bowl Prop Betting Bonanza
The biggest game of the NFL calendar is nearly upon us and Al Dannity is here to take you through Sports Interaction’s wide range of prop bets for Super Bowl XLVI.
Start with the Law Firm
BenJarvus Green Ellis doesn’t have catchphrases like Rob Gronkowski. He doesn’t sport Tiquan Underwood’s high top. He just never lets go of the ball. Ever. In 577 touches since entering the NFL, the Law Firm has yet to fumble. Now, facing the biggest game of his career, we offering bettors a chance to profit from his ball security. BenJarvus Green Ellis is -650 to keep the fumble free streak alive this Sunday.
Pinata powered
We have two piñata picks on the total passing yards by each quarterback. You can bet on either Tom Brady or Eli Manning at +12500. When you place your bet, the piñata pick assigns you a yardage total. If that matches the total yards thrown by the QB you bet on, you win big!
Gronking time?
Despite his oft-discussed ankle issues, Rob Gronkowski is still the favorite to score the game’s first touchdown at +500. The shortest priced Giant is Victor Cruz at +750. There are a couple of good value picks here that stand out. Tom Brady is +3000 but he has scored on QB sneaks already this season. Bear Pascoe, who was unknown before the NFC title game, is available at +4000.
Looking off the field
Most of the attention on Sunday will be on the Giants and Patriots but that’s not the whole show. During the game the cameras will no doubt pan to Tom Brady and Eli Manning’s other halves. You can bet on whether Abby or Gisele get shown first during the broadcast. Eli’s brother Peyton is bound to be in Indianapolis for the game. The over/under for the number of times Peyton appears on screen during the game is set at 4.5. Then there’s the small matter of the national anthem. We all remember what happened with Christina Aguilera last year. The pressure is on Kelly Clarkson to get it right. If she forgets any of the words, we pay out at +250.
And if you want something a little different…
The English language remake of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo has been a critical success. Rooney Mara has earned an Oscar nomination for Best Actress for her portrayal of Lisbeth Salander. NFL betting fans know Mara is also NFL royalty, as great granddaughter of both Giants founder Tim Mara and Steelers’ found Art Rooney. With that in mind we have a special prop. You can bet on the Giants to win on Sunday and Mara to win Best Actress at +5500.
