Leading Indianapolis 21-19 entering the fourth quarter on Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys not only locked down their ninth win of the season, they did it in dominating style with 33 unanswered points in the final frame, tied for the second-most fourth quarter points in NFL history.  Dallas picked up four fourth quarter takeaways against the Colts, converting all of them into touchdowns.  More history was made in the game as the 54-19 final score was the 1,074th unique score in NFL history, which is also the second scorigami of the year.

What is a scorigami?

A scorigami is a unique final score that has never been seen.  The term was coined by football journalist Jon Bois in 2016, with the theory being the points system in American Football results in unique scoring totals compared to other sports like hockey, baseball or soccer. Considering the longevity of the NFL, scorigami’s are not as surprising as you may think and no season in NFL history has finished without at least one scorigami.

How to bet scorigami’s at Sports Interaction

Sports Interaction has multiple ways to bet on NFL scorigami’s, including placing a ‘Pinata Pick’ wager and betting how many scorigamis will hit in a given week.  With a ‘Pinata Pick’, Sports Interaction will assign you a random score that has never happened in NFL history and if your scorigami hits you will be paid out at 1000-1 odds.

You can also wager how many scorigami’s will hit in a specific week.  Sports Interaction pays out at +800 if two or more scorigami’s hit in a specific week.

If you want to keep things simple, you can also look at each matchup during the season and bet a scorigami will occur in a specific game at 33-1 odds.
