AFC Championship Game

New England Patriots at Denver Broncos, 3 p.m. ET

It’s New England’s first appearance in the AFC title game in the post-Tom Brady era. The Pats open as 5.5-point favourites following a 28-16 dismantling of the Houston Texans in the Divisional Round.

After a bye in the Wild Card Round, the Broncos secured a dramatic 33-30 overtime win against the Buffalo Bills for their first playoff victory since winning Super Bowl 50, but it came at a huge loss. Quarterback Bo Nix suffered a broken ankle on the second-last play of the game, thrusting journeyman Jarett Stidham into the starting role for the AFC Championship in his first game action all season.

NFC Championship Game

Los Angeles Rams at Seattle Seahawks, 6:30 p.m. ET

The Rams are the most recent Super Bowl winner of the four remaining teams, having hoisted the Lombardi Trophy in 2022. They were the last team to reach the final four after a 20-17 overtime win against the Chicago Bears in the Divisional Round.

Seattle decimated division-rival San Francisco 41-6 in the Divisional Round as they prepare to face another NFC West foe. The Seahawks opened as three-point favourites after splitting the season series in a pair of games decided by less than three points.
