Nick Bosa
Bosa suffered a torn ACL during San Francisco’s 16-15 win over Arizona. The former Pro Bowler left with about a minute left in the first quarter. Bosa’s knee bent awkwardly when he was tangled up with two Caridnals’ guards as he rushed quarterback Kyler Murray.
It’s a tough break for the Niners and for Bosa, who finishes the year with two sacks, eight pressures and 15 tackles with a 21.9 per cent pass rush win rate over two games.
It’s adds to San Francisco’s long injury list which includes quarterback Brock Purdy (toe), tight end George Kittle (hamstring), wide receiver Jauan Jennings (shoulder/ankle) and left guard Ben Bartch (ankle). However, none of those injuries are believed to be season-ending.
Week 4 opponent:
James Conner
Conner suffered a season-ending right ankle injury, also in the Week 3 matchup against the 49ers.
Conner was carted off the field after a one-yard run with 12:26 left in the third quarter. The injury was descried as “severe” and will require surgery.
This comes at a bad time for the Cardinals, who are on a short week and will host the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday.
Conner finishes the 2025 campaign with nine carries for 22 yards after coming into the year with back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons.
Trey Benson is expected to be Arizona’s lead back going forward. Benson has 125 yards on 21 carries to go along with eight catches for 45 yards this season.
