Jared Goff has cooked in the postseason, throwing just two interceptions in nine career playoff games.

Saturday’s Commanders-Lions game is a mismatch that Detroit should cruise through, so rather than pick the spread or moneyline, I’m going to challenge myself to find some value player props.

Washington Commanders

Zach Ertz showed some chemistry with Jayden Daniels early in the season, but that connection hasn’t been as strong in recent weeks. Ertz finished with just 23 receiving yards last week in the Wild Card Round against Tampa Bay and he’s finished with more than 28 receiving yards just twice in his last five games.

Things won’t get any easier this week against a Lions squad that ranked top-five at defending tight ends in the regular season. I’m fading Ertz in the Divisional Round.

Divisional Round prop: Zach Ertz Under 28.5 receiving yards (-110)

Detroit Lions

Outside of one game, Jared Goff put on a masterclass of responsibility with the ball this season. Goff has thrown just 12 interceptions, five of which came in that one bad performance, and Detroit still managed to win the game. He ended the year throwing a pick in just three of his last 14 games and he only has two interceptions in nine career playoff games.

Now Goff is set to face a Washington defence that finished the regular season with the fourth-fewest interceptions (seven) in the NFL. I’m counting on a mistake-free game from Goff against the Commanders.

Divisional Round prop: Jared Goff Under 0.5 interceptions (-155)
