The Pack are -190 favourites on the NFL odds.

Chicago Bears 2022-2023 Betting Predictions

NFL 22/23

Regular Season Wins - Chicago Bears
  • Under 6.5 -167
  • Over 6.5 +125

There’s no way to sugarcoat this Bears fans: It’s going to be a very long football season in the Windy City as this might be the least talented overall roster in the NFL. Young QB Justin Fields may get killed behind a porous offensive line. But new general manager Ryan Poles and first-year head coach Matt Eberflus knew they were entering a rebuilding situation. Chicago will have among the most salary-cap room in the league next offseason and figures to be picking very high in Round 1 of the 2023 draft. The Bears are +1300 long shots to win the North and are -125 favourites to finish last – they will. They have an over-under of 6.5 wins, and Chicago will not be favoured in that many games. They might only be in two games: Week 3 vs. Houston and Week 6 vs. Washington. Under 6.5 wins.

Detroit Lions 2022-2023 Betting Predictions

NFL - NFC Division North Finishing Position - Detroit Lions

Pointspread
  • 4th Place -116
  • 3rd Place +203
  • 2nd Place +508
  • 1st Place +1017

The Lions remain the only team in the NFC yet to play in a Super Bowl and Detroit hasn’t even won a playoff game since the 1991 season, the longest such drought in the NFL. It does appear the franchise is on the right track, though, behind second-year GM Brad Holmes and Coach Dan Campbell. I’m just not sure they have the right quarterback yet in Jared Goff. Aiden Hutchinson, the No. 2 overall pick out of the University of Michigan, is the +345 favourite to win Defensive Rookie of the Year. To win the North, Detroit is +800. The team’s favoured finishing position is last at +135, but I lean third at +155. Detroit is set at over-under 6.5 wins, and I’d lean over that.

Green Bay Packers 2022-2023 Betting Predictions

NFL 22/23 - Awards - Most Valuable Player (reg. season)

Pointspread
  • Rodgers, Aaron +704

The Packers have dominated the NFC North for years simply because they have had the best quarterback in the division by far in Aaron Rodgers and nothing has changed there, although they did trade away arguably the NFL’s best receiver in Davante Adams to the Raiders. Rodgers has won the past two NFL MVP Awards and is +800 to win No. 5 career, which would tie Peyton Manning for the most all-time. Can’t say I recommend that prop only as there are major questions about Rodgers’ receiving group. Green Bay is -190 to win the North again, and its favoured finishing position is first at -204. Barring an injury to Rodgers, that’s where the Packers will finish. The team has a win total of 10.5, and I’d lean over with an 11-6 projection.

Minnesota Vikings 2022-2023 Betting Predictions

Minnesota is looking for its first division title since 2017. Coach Mike Zimmer and GM Rick Spielman were fired after the Vikes finished second in the North last year at 8-9. Former Rams offensive coordinator Kevin O’Connell is the new head coach. The Vikings easily have the best group of receivers in the North in rising young superstar Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen. But can Kirk Cousins win a big game? That’s been an issue in his career. The Vikings are +250 to win the division and their favoured finishing position at +125 is second – I agree. The team’s win total is 9.5, and we’ll go over with a 10-7 mark.
