Chargers WR Mike Williams Injures Knee, Could Miss Season
Mike Williams is one of the studs on the Chargers’ roster, with a couple of thousand-yard receiving seasons to his name. Losing him would mean fellow playmakers Keenan Allen – who made a heck of a play in Week 3 by throwing a TD pass – Joshua Palmer, and Gerald Everett would have to up their game.
The injured Charger was having a good day when the injury occurred. He had caught seven passes for 121 yards and a touchdown (the Keenan Allen pass).
He’ll go through an MRI on Monday, as per reports, but the early word is that it doesn’t look good. It rarely does when the knee is concerned.
The Los Angeles Chargers defeated the Minnesota Vikings 28-24 to pick up their first win of the season, improving their record to 1-2. Minnesota faces a big 0-3 hole.
L.A faces old rivals the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 4.
