First Quarter: The Lions set the tone early, with quarterback Jared Goff leading a methodical drive that culminated in a touchdown pass to wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, giving Detroit a 7-0 lead. The Packers struggled to find their footing, with quarterback Jordan Love facing relentless pressure from the Lions’ defense.

Second Quarter: Green Bay managed to get on the scoreboard with a field goal, narrowing the gap to 7-3. However, Detroit responded swiftly; safety Kerby Joseph intercepted a pass from Love and returned it 27 yards for a touchdown, extending the Lions’ lead to 14-3. Third Quarter: The Lions received the second-half kickoff and orchestrated a 71-yard drive, capped by a 15-yard touchdown run from running back Jahmyr Gibbs on a 4th-and-1 play, pushing the lead to 24-3. Green Bay’s offense remained stagnant, managing only a field goal late in the quarter to make it 24-6.

Fourth Quarter: Desperation set in for the Packers as they attempted to mount a comeback. Love connected with wide receiver Christian Watson for a two-point conversion following a 2-yard touchdown run by running back Emanuel Wilson, cutting the deficit to 24-14 with just under four minutes remaining. However, the Lions’ defense held firm, preventing any further scoring and sealing the victory.
