Seahawks vs. Patriots Super Bowl odds
Seahawks’ odds to win Super Bowl 60
That’s because the current Super Bowl odds have the Seattle Seahawks as -235 favourites to win the game, while they’re also set as 4.5-point favourites (priced at -110). To bet on Seattle to simply win the Super Bowl, you’d have to risk $235 to pocket $100 on a successful wager. If you bet the Seahawks on the current point spread, Seattle would have to win by five or more points and you’d need to risk $110 to add $100 to your bankroll.
Patriots’ odds to win Super Bowl 60
On the other side, if you bet the Patriots to win the game and they come through as +195 underdogs, a $100 wager would net you $195. New England bettors can also cash bets on the point spread if the Patriots win outright, or lose by four or fewer points, since they are set as 4.5-point underdogs.

Super Bowl 60 odds and trends
As of Friday afternoon, the Seahawks were seeing the majority of the betting action to win and cover that point spread – meaning sportsbooks would generally do much better with New England winning outright or at least covering the spread (losing by four or fewer points).
The Super Bowl point spread is a delicate task for all sportsbooks. Being the biggest single annual betting event on the sports calendar, they are looking to balance bets on each team so that they are able to profit from the juice or vig (the price each bettor pays the book to place a bet).
So in this year’s case, if we happen to see this spread move from Seattle at 4.5-point favourites to -4 or -5, that could cause a wave of betting action in one direction or another while disrupting the balance of the betting handle.
That’s why this spread is so important to the sports betting industry and why bettors need to keep a very close eye on it ahead of Sunday’s kickoff.
