Injuries will be a big theme in the Dallas Cowboys-Washington Redskins showdown as both teams are banged up. The Redskins lost three offensive lineman on Monday Night Football and were already without star cornerback Josh Norman. As for the Cowboys, they’ll sorely miss kicker Dan Bailey, who was as automatic as kickers get. Both teams are 3-3 and this will be a key turning point in each of their seasons.

Point Spread: Dallas -2.5 Date: Sunday October 29th, 2017 – 1:00 PM ET Location: FedEx Field, Landover, Maryland

Point Spread And Betting Analysis

The Cowboys improved to 3-3 straight up and 3-3 against the spread with the victory over the 49ers last week. Washington is 3-3 straight up and 2-4 against the spread this season. Dallas is currently listed as a 2.5-point favorite for Sunday’s divisional showdown. The total opened up at 50.5 and 75% of the early bets have been on the over, according to Sports Interaction’s betting trends.

Washington Redskins

Washington’s offense stalled again in its 34-24 loss to Philadelphia. Kirk Cousins threw for 303 yards and three touchdowns but also had an interception and was sacked four times in the loss. A lack of efficiency in the run game really prevented the Redskins from winning the time of possession and allowed the Eagles defense to pin their ears back and get after the quarterback.

The Redskins come into this game battered and bruised. On one hand, their three losses have come to the Eagles (twice) and the Kansas City Chiefs – both strong teams. But they also barely beat the San Francisco 49ers and now have a slew of injuries. They’re banged up on the offensive line and secondary, they can’t consistently run the ball and the receivers have been a big disappointment. They are 3-3 and in the thick of the NFC Wild Card race but it feels like things could turn sour very quickly unless they can straighten out some of their issues.

Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys were firing on all cylinders in their 30-point win over San Francisco. Running back Ezekiel Elliott, whose suspension was delayed again last week, rushed for 147 yards and two touchdowns in the victory. Meanwhile, quarterback Dak Prescott threw for 234 yards and three touchdowns. Dallas still has enough weapons on offense to be one of the more dangerous units in the NFL but they need to be more consistent against tougher defenses in order to maximize their potential.

The Cowboys defense also stepped up in last week’s win with five sacks on rookie quarterback C.J. Beathard. Kirk Cousins and the Washington offense will present a much tougher test for the Dallas defense that has given up 35 points or more in each of their three losses this season.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Redskins Prediction:
