Bengals vs. Raiders Point Spread: NFL Week 11 Odds, Prediction
The Cincinnati Bengals are coming off of their bye week and one that was badly needed. This group had just lost back-to-back games in brutal fashion by allowing over 30 points both times. Luckily for them, they get to face a Las Vegas Raiders team that has struggled mightily offensively the last three weeks. The Raiders have lost their last two games after coming off of their bye week, and it seems like their rhythm just isn’t there right now. Which of these rapidly declining teams can turn it around?
NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis
Cincinnati is 5-1 against the spread in their last six games when coming off of a double-digit loss at home in their previous matchup. They are also 4-1 ATS in their past five when suffering a straight up loss beforehand. Despite getting crushed in their last two matchups, the under has cashed out in four of their last five when allowing their opponent to beat them by more than 14 points.
Flipping over to the Raiders, they are 5-2 ATS in their past seven matchups when entering as the listed underdog but are a measly 2-5 ATS in their psat seven overall. Las Vegas is also 2-8 against the spread in their last 10 when allowing their opponent to score over 30 points in the previous content. Unlike the Bengals, the over has cashed out in eight of their last nine games when they have gotten to play at home.
Cincinnati Bengals
After a week to recollect themselves, Cincinnati has a serious opportunity to stay above .500 on the season. We have witnessed the start of a phenomenal new NFL duo between Joe Burrow and rookie receiver Ja’Marr Chase and they have to lead the way here. Burrow has thrown for 2,497 yards, 20 touchdowns and 11 interceptions while Chase has contributed 835 of those yards and seven touchdowns. These two have provided an excellent dynamic to the passing game while Joe Mixon leads the team on the ground. They started the year off strong defensively but allowed the New York Jets to score 34, then they let the Cleveland Browns drop 41. If Cincinnati wants to keep on winning, the defense has to sort out their issues and get back to what they were doing.
Las Vegas Raiders
It’s a miracle this team is still afloat with all the media coverage and off-field issues that they’ve had. From Jon Gruden to Henry Ruggs to Damon Arnette, they’ve had quite the year. Derek Carr continues to be a leader on the field, though, with 2,826 passing yards, 15 touchdowns and only eight interceptions on the season. Their run game isn’t as powerful as it could be with Josh Jacobs, Kenyan Drake and Peyton Barber splitting carries in the backfield. In the passing game, Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow have been the most consistent targets.
It feels like things are breaking at the seams for the Raiders after they held it together so well to start the season. Not only has this offense only scored 30 points in two games, but their defense just allowed the Kansas City Chiefs to score 41. The Raiders will have to play the perfect game to keep their season from spiraling downhill.
