Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Flacco (shoulder) remains questionable for Week 9’s matchup with the Chicago Bears after suiting up and throwing in Thursday’s practice.

Flacco is dealing with an AC joint sprain in his throwing shoulder and sat out Wednesday’s workout. After that practice head coach Zac Taylor addressed the situation with reporters.

“He won’t practice today,” Taylor said. “We’ll see what we can potentially get out of him [on Thursday]. We’ll just work through the week. I think right now it’s 50-50 on what it will end up on Sunday.”

If Flacco can’t play, Jake Browning is expected to start again. He was 0-3 as the Bengals starter after Joe Burrow was injured and before Flacco was acquired via trade with the Cleveland Browns.
