Say It Ain't So, Tebow: Gator Grabs Spotlight For 2010 Super Bowl

Miami, January 26th, 2009. He isn’t even in the league yet, but Tim Tebow has already created waves in the Super Bowl betting world, as New Orleans and Indianapolis prepare to battle for the Vince Lombardi trophy on February 7th.

Controversy is building over an advertisement that Tebow has recorded with his mother, Pam, that is due to broadcast during the telecast of Super Bowl XLIV. CBS is already under pressure to pull the ad, due to the divisive nature of what Tebow, an evangelical Christian, has to say.

“Unless he gets particularly beat up in the Senior Bowl we don’t really expect Tim Tebow to mix up his Sabbaths, so that mightn’t be a great bet,” says Doyle. “You might be better off putting your money on the huge range of betting types we have for the Super Bowl, the biggest sports betting event of the year. As for Tebow, we wish him all the luck in his NFL career, which we shall be following with interest and excitement.”
