49ers vs. Seahawks Betting: NFL Playoffs Divisional Round Parlay Picks

They just faced each other in Week 18 with not only the division title but also the conference’s No. 1 seed on the line. Seattle (13-4) prevailed to secure a first-round bye, while San Francisco (12-5) settled for a wild card and won at Philadelphia during Super Wild Card Weekend. To add some extra spice to this matchup, let’s break down our 49ers vs. Seahawks parlay picks.

49ers vs. Seahawks Parlay Pick: Seahawks -7 (-115)

Seattle looks like an absolute juggernaut heading into its opening playoff game on Saturday. Head coach Mike Macdonald’s squad is 11-1 in its last 12 games, and during this stretch, its only loss has come by two points on the road against the Rams. The Seahawks completely dominated the 49ers 13-3 in the regular-season finale. That game was in San Francisco, too, and it felt even more lopsided than the 10-point margin indicates. Now the Seahawks get to play the rematch at home on extra rest against a banged-up opponent that is playing on a short week.

As if the Niners’ injury woes were not already extreme enough, star tight end George Kittle suffered a torn Achilles’ in Sunday’s victory at Philadelphia. San Francisco is already without edge rusher Nick Bosa (out for the year with a torn ACL) and linebacker Fred Warner, who probably would not return until the Super Bowl – if at all – due to an ankle injury. Linebackers Luke Gifford and Dee Winters are currently listed as questionable along with receiver Ricky Pearsall. This is simply a brutal spot for the 49ers. Asking them to stay within a touchdown seems like too tall an order.

49ers vs. Seahawks Parlay Pick: Zach Charbonnet to record 50+ rushing yards (+104)

Seattle’s rushing offence is so formidable that there should be more than enough touches to go around for both Charbonnet and Kenneth Walker III to put up big numbers this weekend. That was certainly the case against San Francisco in Week 18, when Charbonnet ran for 74 yards and a touchdown while finishing with 97 yards from scrimmage. Walker amassed 97 yards on the ground.

Charbonnet got 31 carries over the past two contests; Walker had 31 during the same stretch. Although Charbonnet may be listed second on the Seahawks’ depth chart, these two guys effectively share starting duties in the backfield. Saturday’s likely game script calls for Seattle jumping out to a quick lead and being able to run the ball the whole way. Count on Charbonnet getting more than enough carries to once again reach the half-century mark.

49ers vs. Seahawks Parlay Pick: Christian McCaffrey to score a touchdown (-125)

McCaffrey is quite simply a touchdown-scoring machine. He scored 17 times (10 rushing, seven receiving) in the regular season and delivered two more TDs in last weekend’s wild-card win over the Eagles. The former Stanford standout has scored at least one touchdown in seven of the last eight contests. There is no denying that the Seahawks’ defence is outstanding, but McCaffrey has every reason to carry his team’s offence and achieve some modicum of success.

With Kittle now sidelined, San Francisco does not have many other options in the red zone. As long as Seattle contains everyone else on the Niners’ offence, it should not concern itself with McCaffrey finding the end zone on one occasion. The Seahawks should still win with relative ease, even if McCaffrey scores a touchdown.
