49ers vs. Eagles NFL Playoffs: Wild Card Weekend Parlay Picks
Arguably the most intriguing matchup of Super Wild Card Weekend features the San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoon in Philly. The 49ers (12-5) settled for a wild card out of the high-powered NFC West, while the Eagles (11-6) won the NFC East with room to spare.
These two historic franchises have represented the NFC in three consecutive Super Bowls and in five of the last eight. It would be no surprise if the winner of Sunday’s showdown keeps that trend going.

49ers vs. Eagles Parlay Pick: Eagles -4.5 (-110)
The Eagles have participated in two of the last three Super Bowls, winning it last year in blowout fashion against the Chiefs. This is a roster laced with both talent and veteran leadership that has proven to have what it takes in the playoffs. Will Philadelphia go all the way again this season? Maybe not, but at the very least, it should take care of business at home in the first round.
Although the 49ers are formidable foes, they are banged up on both sides of the ball. On offence, left tackle Trent Williams, tight end George Kittle and receiver Ricky Pearsall are all listed as questionable. Even quarterback Brock Purdy has to be feeling the effects of getting manhandled 13-3 by the Seahawks in what was a de facto division-title game last Saturday night. Defensively, linebackers Dee Winters and Luke Gifford are questionable. Edge rusher Nick Bosa is out for the year and linebacker Fred Warner won’t return unless San Francisco makes a deep playoff run.
49ers vs. Eagles Parlay Pick: Jalen Hurts Over 206.5 passing yards (-114)
Hurts has thrown for at least 230 yards in three of his last six contests. When he was held under the 200-yard mark toward the end of the regular season, it was largely due to Philadelphia winning big and being able to keep the ball on the ground. The Eagles may prevail again on Sunday, but it probably won’t be a blowout.
Hurts has surpassed this number in five of nine playoff games dating back to 2021, including Super Bowl performances of 221 yards and 301 yards. This guy simply knows what he’s doing when the lights shine brightest. As for San Francisco’s defence, it ranked No. 25 in the NFL against the pass and surrendered 29 touchdowns through the air.
49ers vs. Eagles Parlay Pick: Christian McCaffrey to score a touchdown (-125)
The Eagles should be able to get the job done even if McCaffrey finds the endzone. As long as the home team keeps everyone else on San Francisco’s offence in check, it can accept the star running back’s success as a given and not worry too much about it – provided that McCaffrey doesn’t go completely wild, of course.
The Stanford product scored 17 touchdowns (10 rushing, seven receiving) during the regular season, including at least one in six of the final seven games. Only Seattle – arguably the best team in the entire league – managed to keep him from scoring in that stretch. McCaffrey now faces a mediocre Philadelphia run defence that allowed 124.4 yards per game and 4.3 yards per carry in addition to 20 rushing TDs. Only five teams surrendered more touchdowns on the ground.
