Trevor Lawrence Over 1.5 TD passes
Entering the fifth year of his NFL career, it’s safe to say we know what we’ve got with Trevor Lawrence. He’s a capable quarterback, but it’s tough to ever see him in the conversation as a top-10 quarterback in the league.
I’ll be interested to see how Lawrence develops under first-year head coach Liam Coen, who salvaged the career of Baker Mayfield as Tampa Bay’s offensive coordinator last year.
And lucky for Lawrence and Coen in Week 1 as they’re set to face an absolutely brutal Carolina defence that finished last season ranked dead last in total yards allowed (404.5) and points allowed (31.4) per game.
Hollywood Brown 4+ receptions
Hollywood Brown has been bit by the injury bug in recent years, but when healthy, he’s an elite downfield option. He topped 90 receptions for just over 1,000 yards when he last played a full season and that was with a run-heavy quarterback in Lamar Jackson.
Brown will sit second on the receiving depth chart this week behind Xavier Worthy, which means there should be ample opportunity for Patrick Mahomes to target him when the Chargers double-team Worthy. Keep in mind, Rashee Rice is also suspended and won’t be an option.
Brown only played two regular season games with Mahomes last year, but he was targeted seven and eight times respectively in those contests for nine total receptions. I think Mahomes targets Brown early to try and build off last year’s late-season chemistry.

Tua Tagovailoa Over 250.5 passing yards
I really feel like the Dolphins are being disrespected as an underdog in Indianapolis this week, so I’m banking of Tua Tagovailoa to go out and prove the doubters wrong.
Say what you will about Mike McCarthy and Miami’s offence, but this is a team that goes out and puts up big numbers in warm weather.
Tagovailoa, who is 4-0 in Week 1 games, threw for 338 yards in a Week 1 win over the Jags last year and he put up a ridiculous 466 yards in Week 1 against the Chargers two years ago.
And let’s not forget this Colts team isn’t exactly a juggernaut on defence, allowing the seventh-most passing yards per game (229.4) last year.
