2025 NFL Odds: New York Giants fire head coach Brian Daboll

The New York Giants have reportedly fired head coach Brian Daboll after a fourth straight loss on Sunday.

Daboll was fired after Sunday’s 24-20 loss in Chicago, which dropped New York to 2-8, good for last place in the NFC East.

The final straw came after New York blew a 20-10 in the last four minutes against the Bears. Daboll finishes his 3.5-year tenure leading the Giants with a 20-40-1 record.

Offensive coordinator Mike Kafka will take over as the interim head coach going forward.

The 50-year-old Daboll was highly touted when he first arrived in New York after five season as offensive coordinator of the Buffalo Bills.

Daboll led the Giants to a 9-7-1 record in his first season, defeating Minnesota on the road in the Wild-Card round before losing to the Eagles in the Divisional Round.

However, New York continually regressed under Daboll, finishing 6-11 in 2023 and 3-14 in 2024.
