1. San Francisco 49ers

SU: 1-0
ATS: 1-0
Super Bowl Odds: +720

The 49ers demonstrated why they return as NFC champions with last weekend’s 31-7 rout of the touted Pittsburgh Steelers. With Brock Purdy silencing the naysayers and the defense once again silencing opponents, the Niners remain the NFL’s most reliable bet, both straight up and against the spread.

2. Philadelphia Eagles

SU: 1-0
ATS: 1-0
Super Bowl Odds: +731

The Eagles had their hands full in their 25-20 Week 1 win over New England. But with a favorable schedule awaiting, the defending NFC champions are well positioned to generate revenue for NFL betting fans over the next month.

3. Dallas Cowboys

SU: 1-0
ATS: 1-0
Super Bowl Odds: +1082

A popular pick to be upset by the New York Giants on Monday night, the Cowboys made a statement while rolling to a 40-0 victory. The Dallas defense flashed its potential in that win, and if they can regain the steady form they displayed this time last year, this team will produce dividends.

4. Jacksonville Jaguars

SU: 1-0
ATS: 1-0
Super Bowl Odds: +2264

It took them some time to heat up, but the Jacksonville Jaguars finally flipped the script on their recent woes in Indianapolis with last weekend’s 31-21 win. The Jaguars emerged as a reliable wager late last season, and with Trevor Lawrence in the elite quarterback conversation, this team is poised to regularly run up the score.

5. Miami Dolphins

SU: 1-0
ATS: 1-0
Super Bowl Odds: +1569

The Miami Dolphins waltzed into LA and outgunned Justin Herbert and the Chargers in a 36-34 shootout last weekend. While this team cannot afford to give up 236 rushing yards every week, seeing Tua Tagovailoa throw for 466 yards and three touchdowns makes the Dolphins a threat to pay out every week. If Tua can stay healthy.

6. Kansas City Chiefs

SU: 0-1
ATS: 0-1
Super Bowl Odds: +636

Another year, another slow start for the Kansas City Chiefs, who opened with a 21-20 loss in Detroit on Thursday Night Football. The Chiefs are now 3-4 SU in September since 2020, but barring injury, they should steadily round into form.

7. Detroit Lions

SU: 1-0
ATS: 1-0
Super Bowl Odds: +1669

Long the NFL’s doormat, this edition of the Lions is for real. The question is how long it will take for them to get respect from the nation’s oddsmakers.

8. Buffalo Bills

SU: 0-1
ATS: 0-1
Super Bowl Odds: +1007

Losing to the Jets on Week 1 is bad enough. Losing to the Jets without Aaron Rodgers is just a bad look for this Bills team. However, Buffalo has ample opportunity to turn things around over the next two weeks vs Las Vegas and Washington before things get real tough.

9. Cleveland Browns

SU: 1-0
ATS: 1-0
Super Bowl Odds: +2043

The Browns demonstrated the ability to control a game with last weekend’s 24-3 rout of the Cincinnati Bengals. With arguably the league’s stingiest defense and a favorable upcoming schedule, the Browns should not be overlooked on NFL picks.

10. Baltimore Ravens

SU: 1-0
ATS: 1-0
Super Bowl Odds: +1726

With Lamar Jackson back in action, the Ravens returned to contender form in last week’s 25-9 beat down of the Houston Texans. In fact, this team would likely be ranked higher were it not for the loss of rusher JK Dobbins to a season-ending injury.

11. Los Angeles Chargers

SU: 0-1
ATS: 0-1
Super Bowl Odds: +2226

The Chargers could have just as easily emerged victorious in their Week 1 date with Miami. The LA offense, led by Justin Herbert, performed as expected while the defense struggled against a high-charged Dolphins attack. However, no such powerhouse awaits over their next dates.

12. Cincinnati Bengals

SU: 0-1
ATS: 0-1
Super Bowl Odds: +1271

Joie Burrow’s disappearing act in last week’s loss to Cleveland has to be cause for concern as the Bengals prepare for dates with the Ravens and the Chargers.

13. New York Jets

SU: 1-0
ATS: 1-0
Super Bowl Odds: +5160

What else is there to say about the season-ending injury to Aaron Rodgers? It has devastated this team’s odds across the board. However, there may be value to be found in low expectations.

14. Green Bay Packers

SU: 1-0
ATS: 1-0
Super Bowl Odds: +4191

Jordan Love did not look out of place in the Packers’ Week 1 win over Chicago. And even if it was the Bears, Packers fans should be excited about this team’s defensive performance to open the schedule.

15. Las Vegas Raiders

SU: 1-0
ATS: 1-0
Super Bowl Odds: +8230

The Jimmy Garoppolo era in Vegas opened with an upset win in Denver in Week 1. However, the loss of receiver Jakobi Meyers to a concussion should temper expectations.

16. New Orleans Saints

SU: 1-0
ATS: 0-1
Super Bowl Odds: +2984

Derek Carr enjoyed a victory in his New Orleans Saints debut. But to call a 16-15 win built on three field goals a recipe for success is a stretch.

17. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

SU: 1-0
ATS: 1-0
Super Bowl Odds: +8530

The Baker Mayfield era in Tampa Bay began with a scrappy 20-16 win over the Minnesota Vikings. However, the true star of this team may be the rush defense that limited the Vikings to just 41 yards.

18. Atlanta Falcons

SU: 1-0
ATS: 1-0
Super Bowl Odds: +4785

It remains to be seen whether Desmond Ridder is a legit NFL starting quarterback. However, the Falcons enjoy a talent young backfield duo in Tyler Allgeier and Bijan Robinson, who face a tough test over the next three weeks.

19. Minnesota Vikings

SU: 0-1
ATS: 0-1
Super Bowl Odds: +5200

The Vikings saw their steady run of wins by one score end with last weekend’s 20-16 loss to Tampa Bay. They are now 1-5 ATS in their past six regular season games.

20. Los Angeles Rams

SU: 1-0
ATS: 1-0
Super Bowl Odds: +7590

The Rams silenced doubters with an impressive 30-13 win in Seattle last weekend, and will only get better as their battered offensive stars return to health.

21. Seattle Seahawks

SU: 0-1
ATS: 0-1
Super Bowl Odds: +4745

One of the pleasant surprises of last season, the Seahawks were embarrassed in a 30-13 loss to the Rams last weekend, and suffered a rash of injuries in the process.

22. Pittsburgh Steelers

SU: 0-1
ATS: 0-1
Super Bowl Odds: +5740

The high expectations that the Steelers enjoyed entering the campaign were dashed by last weekend’s 30-7 loss to San Francisco. So the wait for quarterback Kenny Pickett’s breakthrough as an elite passer continues.

23. New England Patriots

SU: 0-1
ATS: 0-1
Super Bowl Odds: +7030

A slow start proved to be the difference in last weekend’s 25-20 loss to Philadelphia as 3.5-point home underdogs. But after failing to cover in six of their past seven games, the time has come to stop overvaluing this team.

24. Washington Commanders

SU: 1-0
ATS: 0-1
Super Bowl Odds: +8240

Sam Howell enjoyed a solid debut as Washington’s starter in last weekend’s narrow win over Arizona. However, this team will live and die this season on defense.

25. New York Giants

SU: 0-1
ATS: 0-1
Super Bowl Odds: +7530

A 40-0 loss in a home game plagued by rain that should have given them an edge will be tough to overcome. In fact, this team now faces massive pressure vs Arizona in Week 2.

26. Denver Broncos

SU: 0-1
ATS: 0-1
Super Bowl Odds: +5910

The Broncos showed no real improvement on offense in their Week 1 loss to Vegas after being the NFL’s lowest scoring team in 2022.

27. Tennessee Titans

SU: 0-1
ATS: 1-0
Super Bowl Odds: +8710

Outright losers in their past eight games, the Titans were forced to settle for five field goals in Sunday’s 16-15 loss to New Orleans. Surprisingly, they enjoy a two-game ATS win streak.

28. Arizona Cardinals

SU: 0-1
ATS: 1-0
Super Bowl Odds: +35400

The Cardinals pushed the Commanders to the brink before falling 20-16 as 7-point underdogs. Injuries remain a concern, as does the offense which scored just nine points on Sunday.

29. Indianapolis Colts

SU: 0-1
ATS: 0-1
Super Bowl Odds: +16000

The Colts put a scare into the Jaguars early in last week’s loss, and while they failed to cover, they in the 31-21 loss, they showed promise. Resolving the Jonathan Taylor impasse could bring some relief.

30. Carolina Panthers

SU: 0-1
ATS: 0-1
Super Bowl Odds: +9510

Top pick Bryce Young experienced growing pains in last week’s 24-10 loss to Atlanta. This team is a work in progress.

31. Houston Texans

SU: 0-1
ATS: 0-1
Super Bowl Odds: +25800

The Texans had no answer for Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens in last week’s 25-9 loss. This young team shows upside, but patience is paramount.

32. Chicago Bears

SU: 1-0
ATS: 1-0
Super Bowl Odds: +8320

Now losers in 10 straight games, the Bears have covered just twice over that stretch while scoring an average of just 14 points per game over their past four outings.
