Out of more than 11 million ESPN brackets just 273 brackets remain unblemished after Thursday’s nonsense. The best way to deal with this is realize we’re all in this misery together. Really, yesterday featured some of the most entertaining hoops I’ve ever seen from an opening day.
Today I’m going back to the well with the Kansas Jayhawks after they busted my bracket last year. I might end up hating myself for it.

Right now it sits at -10 and Sports Interaction is seeing 57 percent of its bets coming in on New Mexico at the moment so maybe yesterday’s upsets have left bettors a little gunshy on the big number.

GAME ON
Perry Ellis off the glass for the first score of the game. It’s going to be a long day if the Jayhawks get looks like those.
Kansas looks focused early. You have to wonder if these top seeds are on high alert after all of yesterday’s upsets. Self probably read them the riot act. His angry face is the greatest.
15:35 – Kansas up 11-4.

9:00 – Kansas owning inside now. Jayhawks stretch lead to 24-14.
Forgot the Aggies have five Canadians on the roster. Get it together, you hosers!
5:39 – Kansas up 26-16. It really isn’t as close as the score suggests. The Jayhawks are forcing the Aggies into turnovers and it’s a bit scrappy right now. Feels like Kansas has a few more gears to get to while this might be all New Mexico State has.
UPDATE: Georgia up 11-4 vs. Michigan State. Probably going to lose it if the Spartans fall here.
Jayhawks rolling and this is getting ugly. Time to get your live bets in before halftime. Kansas -15.5

MSU vs. GEORGIA
Aggies coming out strong after the half to cut MSU’s lead to 37-27.
Great ball movement by MSU. They’re getting good looks each time they get down the floor and already have had 10 different players check into the game.
