NBA Odds: Scottie Barnes’ Injury Could Cut Toronto Raptors’ Betting Streak
Toronto Raptors star Scottie Barnes went down with an ankle injury in Monday night’s loss to the New York Knicks and he’s expected to miss multiple weeks. That could spell major trouble for not only the Raptors on the court but their betting supporters, too.
Toronto Raptors NBA Odds
Despite Monday’s 113-108 loss, the Raptors managed to cover the spread as 7.5-point underdogs, which pushed their against the spread (ATS) record to 17-8 on the year. Toronto has covered in four of its last five heading into Thursday’s road test against the Miami Heat.
You have to wonder how long the Dinos will be able to continue to keep games close though with Barnes on the shelf again. Having already missed 11 games with an orbital bone fracture now, Toronto will be sure to struggle to account for Barne’s 20.6 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 7.4 assists per game.
