The Bucks and Bulls are meeting in Chicago for the second time this week. Milwaukee came out on top, 112-91, on Monday, but both teams have been in action since then. The Bucks lost 111-105 to the Nets at home on Thursday, while the Bulls dropped a 144-133 decision in Atlanta.

Milwaukee is favoured to win on the NBA odds.

Bucks vs. Bulls NBA Betting Odds

As mentioned, these teams just played each other on Monday. That was the third of four regular season meetings, with the Bucks winning two of three, so far. That continues a head-to-head trend that has seen Milwaukee win seven of the last 10 games, with the Over hitting six times in that span.

Oddly enough, this game doesn’t really benefit the Bulls at home. Chicago is one of the worst home teams in the NBA at 4-11 straight up compared to 9-7 on the road. Meanwhile, the Bucks come in as the much hotter team with 13 wins in their last 17 games overall.

When it comes to totals betting, these teams are each trending toward lower scoring games. The total has gone Under in four of Milwaukee’s last six games and five of the Bulls’ last seven.

Milwaukee Bucks

Milwaukee buckled late on Thursday. After the Bucks led the entire second half, Brooklyn rallied for a 7-0 run late in the fourth quarter to hand Milwaukee their second loss in four games. Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez and Bobby Portis Jr. led the way for the Bucks. Middleton had 21 points, Lopez dropped 20 and Portis finished with 18. It continued a hot run for Lopez, who has 10 or more points in five straight games and 41 points in his last two.

There are a couple of major injury concerns for Milwaukee, who have played the last three games without their two leading scorers, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard. Antetokounmpo, who averages a league-high 32.7 points per game, and Lillard, who averages 25.7 ppg, are both dealing with non-COVID illnesses. They haven’t played together since the Bucks’ 97-81 NBA Cup championship win over Oklahoma City on December 17.

Chicago Bulls

It was an absolutely wild game for the Bulls on Thursday. Chicago led by as much as 21 points in the game before getting torched for 50 points in the fourth quarter and blowing the lead late in the game. It was the Bulls’ third loss in a row. Zach LaVine, who is expected to be moved ahead of the February trade deadline, put up a season-high and game-high 37 points. Chicago is expecting a big haul for their leading scorer as they plan to tank for the upcoming stacked 2025 draft class.

Not to be overshadowed by LaVine’s performance on Thursday, Jevon Carter also had himself a game, finishing with 26 points and seven made threes in 36 minutes of playing time. It was a pretty remarkable performance from Carter, who hasn’t logged more than 15 minutes or more than nine points in any other game this season.
