NASCAR Odds & Predictions: Big Machine Hand Sanitizer 400
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indianapolis will be the host track for everything NASCAR this weekend. Included in the events, is the Big Machine Hand Sanitizer 400 which will take place on Sunday as Americans celebrate the fourth of July long weekend.
Last weekend at Pocono, Kevin Harvick and Denny Hamlin split the two series, and ironically the two also had second place finishes when the other took the checkered flag.

Racing Analysis
This race marks the 27th time the famous “Brickyard” speedway has hosted a Cup Series event.
The 2.5-mile, 100+ year old track is a rectangle oval track with 9.2 degrees of banking in the turns. Drivers will go 160 laps for a total of 400 miles.
Sports Interaction is offering points leader Kevin Harvick as the favourite at +350 entering Sunday’s race (4pmET). Harvick has had a lot of success in Indy with six straight top-eight finishes. During the 2020 Nascar calendar season, Harvick leads all drivers with 14 top-10 finishes. He is also the defending champion entering this event claiming first place (Big Machine Vodka 400) September 8, 2019.
There could be some value on Brad Keselowski to win on Sunday afternoon? Keselowski is the 2018 winner here at the Brickyard and is chalked at +750 at Sports Interaction to win it for a second time.
There has been a lot of talk of the Busch brothers finally winning this weekend. The two have combined for 84 Cup Series wins, but 0 this 2020 season. Kyle is a two-time winner here at Indy. He’s currently marked at +450 to get it done on Sunday. Kurt Busch has nine top-10 finishes this year and three top-five finishes in 2020 and a long shot at +2500.
Jimmie Johnson is making his final Indy start this weekend; will he go out on a high? He’s a four-time winner and looking to tie Jeff Gordon for the most Indy wins at five, but, he’s finished 23rd, 16th and 35th the last three years. He’s another long shot at Sports Interaction coming in at +3300.
Prediction
When you break down the stats on this race, four of the last seven NASCAR events in Indianapolis have been won from the front row. Seven of the last eight have been won from the Top 5 rows. Take this into consideration when selecting a winner.
I like Ryan Blaney to take the checkered flag at the Brickyard. He’s had a top-five finish in each of the last two races here and since his win at Talladega two weeks ago, has been one of the more impressive drivers in NASCAR.
Ryan Blaney at +1100 is my selection to win the Big Machine Hand Sanitizer 400.
