After ending a highly anticipated fight against Cat Zingano in an unbelievable 14 second tap out, Ronda Rousey says she believes she could beat 100% of the UFC male fighters in her bantamweight class.

Following her stunning victory over Zingano, Rousey was the talk of the sports world and boasted a 11-0 overall record. UFC announcer Joe Rogan went on to state that he thinks Rousey could defeat 50 percent of UFK male bantamweight fighters. “There’s a lot of guys her size she could beat,” said Rogan. “If you took the roster of the UFC’s bantamweights, 135 pounds and you paired them up against Ronda Rousey, she might be able to beat 50 percent of them. That’s not a joke.”

Rogan’s comments have started a conversation as to whether or not Rousey would be capable of competing against men. ESPN Sportscenter anchor Matt Barrie posed the question to her in an interview and asked for Rousey’s thoughts on the issue.

“I never say that I’m incapable of beating anybody, because I don’t believe in putting limits on myself,” said Rousey in reply. “So I mean, I would have to say if you’re just talking about what’s in the realm of possibility of what’s possible of who I could beat, well, I could beat 100 percent of them. But you can’t tell me that there’s a zero percent chance that I can beat anyone on the planet, so I’m never gonna say that.”

A hypothetical conversation about Rousey fighting against a male UFC fighter can go on forever, but the reality for Rousey right now is whether or not the UFC can find her a worthy opponent. In the meantime, Rousey is doing some acting for a film that will begin shooting late Spring and is planning on meeting with the UFC to discuss her next moves in the ring.
