Tony Ferguson and Justin Gaethje are the headliners in the stacked UFC 249 event, which will be held in front of an empty VyStar Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida with the interim Lightweight title on the line. He’s looking to secure the interim title to guarantee a title fight against Lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. This will be Gaethje’s first crack at UFC gold. UFC 249 has been strengthened by a title fight between Henry Cejudo and Dominick Cruz. Cejudo is a two-division champ and an Olympic gold medalist; Cruz is probably the best UFC bantamweight of all time. In his last fight, which was almost four years ago he lost his title to Cody Garbrandt.
