2025 Sports Equinox Parlay: MLB, NFL, NBA and NHL Odds, Prediction

Monday should be declared a holiday in North America because it’s the rare Sports Equinox, which means at least one game is played from Major League Baseball, the NFL, NBA and NHL.

So, in honour of that, here’s a four-leg parlay recommendation with one from each sports priced at +122.

World Series: Blue Jays-Dodgers Under 11.5 (-450)

This is obviously an alternate total for Game 3 of the World Series on Monday night between Toronto and the Los Angeles Dodgers as the series shifts to L.A. I don’t see many scenarios where these teams combine for 12+ runs even though they did in Game 1. This number gets us a win in a 6-5 game, which was really why it’s the pick. You don’t have to worry about prices in a parlay nearly as much.

The actual game total is 8.0, and I’m not sure the Blue Jays will be able to do much offensively against another dominant Dodgers starting pitcher in Tyler Glasnow. The hard-throwing righty has given up just one run and seven hits over 13.1 innings in the 2025 post-season. And both bullpens are rested with the off-day Sunday.

Monday Night Football: Commanders at Chiefs (-6.5 at -275)

Just the one Monday night game this week (and going forward) and it’s Washington at Kansas City. The game might not be all that interesting because the Chiefs are heavy favourites due to stellar young Commanders QB Jayden Daniels, the 2024 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, being ruled out due to injury. Because of that, and a pretty bad defence, I don’t give Washington much of a shot but we will push this spread way down and under the key number of 7 to -6.5.

NBA: Nets at Rockets (Houston TT over 110.5 points at -650)

It’s a huge night in the Association with 11 games. One thing to remember about betting the NBA is to absolutely wait as long as possible ahead of the tip because no league sees key guys ruled out late than this. This shouldn’t be very close. Winless and rebuilding Brooklyn is among the NBA’s worst teams and is playing the second of a back-to-back after losing by double digits on Sunday in San Antonio.

After adding Kevin Durant in the off-season, the Rockets should be one of the NBA’s best teams and are legit title contenders. And now they are a bit desperate at 0-2, but those defeats were to good teams in Oklahoma City and Detroit so there really aren’t any major concerns in Houston as both came down to the wire. The Rockets, averaging 117.5 points, have been off since Friday and have admitted they are angry. Since it’s a parlay, we won’t bother with a spread and a bad beat.

NHL: Bruins at Senators (over 4 goals at -650)

Just two games Monday night on the ice, with the other being St. Louis at Pittsburgh. This of course is an alt total, and 4.0 is always a great number because obviously if it’s tied 2-2 at the end of regulation, we are guaranteed a win leaning over.

Boston is pretty mediocre overall this season but is scoring well at 3.20 goals per game. It should be Jeremy Swayman in net, and he’s solid at home but has allowed 10 total goals in three road starts. Top defenceman Hampus Lindholm landed on injured reserve over the weekend. The Sens, even missing the injured Brady Tkachuk, have had just one game this season land under four total goals. They just lit the lamp seven times on Saturday in blowing out Washington in D.C.
