New York GC have come up well short in their first two TGL appearances, following up on a dismal 9-2 loss to The Bay Golf Club in their season opener with a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Atlanta Drive GC in their last outing on January 21. Jupiter Links GC atoned for their embarrassing 12-1 loss to Los Angeles Golf Club to open the schedule by knocking off Boston Common Golf 4-3 in an entertaining matchup that needed to be settled in overtime.

The big question facing Jupiter Links GC going into Tuesday’s action is whether Tiger Woods will be in the lineup. The legendary Woods took a pass on the Genesis Invitational following the death of his mother Kultida Woods on February 4. If Woods is not ready to return to action, the Jupiter Links lineup on Tuesday will feature Tom Kim, Kevin Kisner, and Max Homa.
Kim has emerged as a big-time contributor and somewhat of a fan favourite in the early going of the TGL season. The 22-year-old has fully embraced his role on the TGL squad, bringing huge emotion to his first appearance versus Boston Common, claiming a crucial point on the 12th hole that gave his squad a late lead and then following up with a sensational stroke in overtime and is just one of three TGL players to hit 100% of fairways so far this season.
Kisner should be well rested after taking a pass on the genesis Invitational. The 40-year-old clinched the club’s recent overtime win over New York GC but has been brutal in recent PGA Tour appearances, missing the cut in two 2025 outings and seven of his past eight tournament outings.
Max Homa was a non-factor in the club’s dismal season-opening defeat and has not fared much better on the PGA Tour this season, failing to crack the top 50 in his past three outings.
New York Golf Club Odds
Finding a silver lining in New York GC abysmal start to the TGL campaign is a major undertaking. The club has picked up just two total points through their first two outings and zero points through the first eight holes of their first two matches.
However, Rickie Fowler’s squad cannot be faulted for effort. New York GC leads the TGL with 80 per cent fairways hit and are tied with Boston Common for third overall with 63.3 per cent of greens in regulation, but give it all back on the greens, where they have made just 55.6 per cent of their putts inside 10 feet and 0 per cent from outside 10 feet.
Fowler has also endured a somewhat slow start to his PGA Tour campaign, finishing a distant 53rd at The American Express before being forced to withdraw from the WM Phoenix Open prior to the second round due to illness, and stumbled in the opening round at the Genesis, shooting +5.
Now faced with the prospect of taking on a Jupiter Links squad that will be aiming to win one for Tiger’s Mom, it could be another long evening for the boys from the Big Apple.
