2025 Masters Odds: Corey Conners is primed to compete for the green jacket
Mike Weir is the only Canadian to win the Masters, but Listowel, Ontario’s Corey Conners has a legit shot to repeat Weir’s 2003 feat.
Let’s take a look at Corey Conners ahead of the 2025 Masters.

Masters odds
This seems to be the first year Conners isn’t viewed as a sneaky pick to win the Masters. He hits the ball as well as anyone and he’s finished top-10 in three of the last five tournaments.
One interesting stat lines up for Conners to win in 2025. Since the tournament began, the average number of starts to win is 6.3 (Weir did it in four starts). This will be Conners’ seventh Masters start as a pro.
Conners top-10
After missing the cut in 2023, Conners finished T38 at last year’s Masters. Prior to 2023, he made the top-10 in three consecutive years, finishing T10 in 2020, T8 in 2021 and T6 in 2022.
Conners already has four top-10 finishes in nine events this season, matching his total from all of last year. One of those finishes was a season-best third place result at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, a course that like Augusta National, requires precision shot making.
Top Canadian
There was plenty of Canadian talent at Augusta National on Tuesday, with Conners, Weir, Nick Taylor and Taylor Pendrith playing a practice round.
It feels like a lock for Conners to be the top Canadian at this year’s tournament, with the stats backing him up. Conners is 19th on the PGA Tour in strokes gained: off the tee, 23rd in strokes gained: total and 21st in the Official World Golf Ranking (highest spot of his career).
Remember, even with a pedestrian T38 finish last year, Conners was still the top Canadian, with Adam Hadwin finishing T53, while Weir and Taylor missed the cut.
