Lights out at the 2022 Brazilian Grand Prix is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday afternoon at Autódromo José Carlos Pace. The track measures 4.309 kilometres in length, making it one of the shortest laps on the F1 circuit. It features a long straight from the race start, 15 turns, and elevation changes of 150 feet, as well as two DRS detection zones.

The “Mexican Minister of Defense” has picked up points in each of his past five appearances at the Interlagos track, including a pair of fourth-place finishes, and has also recently proven his ability to produce results in wet conditions.
Perez’ recent steady performance has also lifted him past Leclerc on the odds to finish second in the Standings as a -139 favourite, with Leclerc dipping to +100 after sporting odds as short as -250 over the past month.
Can Hamilton Repeat in Sao Paulo?
Not to be overlooked ahead this weekend is the most recent winner at this race, Lewis Hamilton. It has not been the best of seasons for the Mercedes driver and seven-time F1 champion, who has yet to claim a checkered flag. However, Hamilton has shown steady improvement during the second half of the campaign, and has finished second to Verstappen in each of the past two races. Accordingly, the three-time Brazilian Grand Prix winner sits third on the odds board as a +650 wager. However, considering the struggles that he had while racing in the rain in Singapore and Japan, sports bettors considering diving into Hamilton’s -175 odds of returning to the podium should proceed with caution.
